I found the forums by looking for different places the MLP community is concentrated in that wasn't Reddit. How you became a fan of My Little Pony Despite many people saying that this was a crappy show, I decided to watch a few episodes before forming an opinion rather than accept someone else's at face value. I was originally nervous about watching it because of "public perception", but I quickly didn't care about that. That helped me in a lot of ways.
