But in Bleach they made every Japanese guy named Shinji into an awesome guy

okay, so... why do you like Japanese people called Shinji?

there are many amazing ones called that

• Shinji Aoyama (真治), a Japanese film director.
• Shinji Aramaki (伸志), a Japanese anime director and mechanical designer.
• Shinji Hashimoto, a Japanese game producer.
• Shinji Harada, a Japanese pop music artist.
• Shinji Higuchi (真嗣), a Japanese storyboard artist.

but there are also good Japanese people who are called other things. Things like... Akira

Also Akira means 'wisdom' :3
