Halcyon: The Reign of Princess Twilight Sparkle

Had Alicorn Princess Twilight Sparkle ruled Equestria for 27,000 years, it would not have been long enough. The exact chronology of her reign has never been officially established and remains a matter of debate.

What is certainly beyond debate is that most, if not all of that long expanse of time (for long it must have been) was a veritable Halcyon. A manifest paradise for those lucky enough to have lived through it.

And who knows, why should Gen 5's view of Gen 4 be our view? Maybe Opaline never reared her ugly horn. Perhaps after a perfectly reasonable length of rule, Princess Twilight Sparkle retired in favor of Princess Flurry Heart, or a daughter of Flurry Heart. Ponies rulers clearly preferred to choose their successors based upon ability and not upon heredity, and it seems likely that Princess Twilight Sparkle would not have bucked that particular trend.

It is fertile ground for speculation, anyway. The Halcyon of Equestria will last forever, it lives on in the hearts of all true ponies.

Gen 4 will forever for me be the best generation of My Little Pony.

Equestria's peaceful existence, earned through friendship and building relations with others like Reformed Changelings, Dragons, Yaks and other sentient life there, is something I yearn to be a part of even though I can never go to that fictional world, I even yearn for peace in the real world, despite it being challenging at times. I'm not afraid to ask for help though when I need it, and I'm grateful to have met such wonderful people here like you, @Silent Dusk and @Snoopy Fan

I've recently gotten myself involved in a roleplay with Snoopy Fan, you're welcome to join in, if you prefer. I found it to be a great source of humour and fun, and has lifted spirits, and it may prevent me from complaining about things often here. If I am to be distracted by fun that can be had here with people, I won't have time to think about the negative parts, or at least after my therapy session is done and dusted, I would learn to keep it under wraps and away from this forum, and focus those occasional outbursts or rants in my personal life at home. I love you all the same though, and I will never forget what you and @Ice Princess Silky <3 have done for me.
