I think that it would be interesting to do a roleplay involving Dusk Haven, Skylight Scintillate, and Twilight Sparkle. Perhaps something relating to how the trio are alicorns and do various types of magic? I notice that it appears you have a very thought out idea of how magic works in Equestria. While I am interested in a discussion on magic, I don’t really have a detailed idea on how magic works exactly. One thing I never overly explained in my world was how it all came together, just that it was. You can come up with your own theories during the role play when you are ready to tackle the subject. Or the whole role play could be a discussion about what each thinks magic is. That could be something you and I could do with just one-on-one RP. You might be surprised by what ideas you can conjure while RPing. My world-building is tied to the show, yet it diverged about 25 chapters ago. I would be happy to discuss it. I know the initial idea was for a three-way conversation between Twi, you, and me, but would you like a warm-up session to map out our interactions and get a baseline of each other? I am currently in this world for the Running of the Leaves event. We can meet in your world, my world, or this MLPForums world (I consider a nexus point where all worlds collide). Thoughts? Two ways would be to meet you initially in your world, then invite you to my world, or we could already have met of camera, and you arrive directly in my universe by personal invitation. As for mapping out, it depends on what you want to do there. Is it a general meet-and-greet, an introduction to my universe, or a discussion on a specific topic of your choice? I introduced Skyros as the land where many Alicorns originally came from long ago in my work. I think we can make it happen that you've been in the universe a while. When you say "Off camera," it refers to something that has already happened, but the reader or viewer didn't see it. If you say "She had already learned her lesson from past mistakes", we know something happened to the character to place her in a particular frame of mind; we didn't see those events because they happened "off camera" or "out of sight" of what we see as observers. I left the location of Twilight's home vague so you can decide whether it is in Canterlot or Ponyville, and if in Ponyville, whether it is the Golden Oaks Library or the castle. I also wrote it so you can decide whether you arrived at Twilight's home before or after Skylight. Finally, feel free to have Twilight say or do things in your posts. After recent conversations with the moderators—who have been nothing but respectful and clear in their intentions—I’ve realized that there is no middle ground I can stand on in good faith. I understand the rules. I understand the concern around AI. But I cannot place “AI-generated” beneath something that isn’t. And I cannot run every sentence I write through a detector to prove I sound human enough in my own voice. The truth is simple: This is how I speak. Dusk is me—translated into pony form. Over the years, I shaped her voice to carry the way I see the world: with detail, emotion, and a bit of poetic rhythm. That is not a filter. That is not a program. That is just… me. To prove how flawed this situation has become, I tested it: I ran a completely AI-generated piece through a detector. It scored 20%. I ran something I wrote—heart and hoof—and it scored 58%. So how am I meant to win a game where the tool can’t even tell the difference between its own words and mine? Please don’t misunderstand—this isn’t anger at the moderators. They have been kind and professional. This is simply me recognizing my limits. And so, with a heavy heart, I’m stepping away from ongoing roleplays. I will still be here. I will still talk, read, share updates on my world and my books—just not in active RP for now. This is hard because I had a whole Hearth's warming event I was pitching to the event coordinator. But to those I was writing with, I am truly sorry to leave our stories unfinished. It isn’t because I don’t care—it’s because I care so much that I’d rather step back than keep creating under suspicion or doubt. Thank you for reading.
