Allura also would have failed, and it is telling that she never really got the chance to start causing trouble in earnest.

It is yet more telling that Tell Your Tale, before being cancelled, was about to reveal the return of an Alicorn.

That much at least, Gen 5 should have been allowed to deliver upon.
