Night Sky 1,396 Wednesday at 11:28 PM Share Wednesday at 11:28 PM [This piece is almost as bad as a lot of other whacked crossover art, for whacked crossovers that you'll see by the terabytes on DA. All I can say for myself is that I did try to at least do a decent job of putting this together.] Maud Pie visited Vulcan and fell in love with the place, predictably. There was then no question of any other venue from her wedding to Mudbriar. For his part, Mudbriar found the Vulcan Academy of Science to be a deeply satisfying place to visit, because he got pawned in many fascinating debates. If Mr. Spock is going to be your Best Man, you might as well have Spike and Big Mac as Groomsmen, because they are nerds. But then you also need the probe in the form of Lt. Ilia be the Maid of Honor, so that way V'ger can see to the chain of Sonic Rainbooms! We have to keep the proceedings logical. Clyde and Sue Pie seem a little bit overwhelmed by this interstellar destination wedding. As rock farmers, you can forgive them for thinking they know their trade. However, even if you are an expert in the field, Vulcan likely has something new to teach you about geology. There's no wedding Pinkie Pie cannot get into the spirit of, and the same is true of Marble Pie. Limestone Pie is a little taken aback, but she is minding her manners. These Vulcans are stoical in the extreme, and are entirely immune to intimidation. The Mane 6 and Starlight Glimmer are just there to support the bride and the groom, and Pinkie Pie and her family. What's a wedding without an audience? The royalty of Equestria is indeed in attendance, the occasion is as good a pretext as any for possibly lucrative diplomatic overtures. In the background, the Vulcan Priestess and her attendants look own with inscrutable facial expressions, and arabesque hand gestures. Overhead, V'ger generates an unimaginably long and bright Rainbow, punctuated by regularly spaced Sonic Rainbooms. Yeah, even Rainbow Dash decided to to sit this one out. V'ger is like 20 Trillion times cooler. Its stunts actually give rise to all kinds of physics conundrums, but we just went through a bunch of those with the spinning Carousel Boutique, so I'll stop now.
