Fluttershy Colored Pencil Drawing

I just need a way to color her coat, i am having some trouble because i know that yellow is to yellow and fluttershy's coat it more butter-like, how can i make it like that? do i need a different pencil?

Either just color very lightly, or look for a cream-yellow pencil. Colored pencils don't blend well.
