moongarnet77 47 November 7, 2012 Share November 7, 2012 To be perfectly honest..... not all of these old looks are too freaky, but some these really shocked me. first, is Rarity from Gen 3. I mean, jeez... what dd they do to you, Rarity? This isn't you.... Nest is Rainbow Dash from Gen 3.5 This isn't that bad, but it still kinda freaks me out that Rainbow could be stylish.... Next is Scootaloo and Sweetie Belle I'll admit, they still look cute, but not only do they have their cutie marks, but Scootaloo isn't a pegasus!!!!! One of the few good things that came from the Gen 3.5 special "Twinkle Wish Adventure" was this.... Yes, someone decided to make a pic from that special using the Friendship is Magic character models. :lol: If you guys find anymore weird previous generation pics, please feel free to post them on here. Everything thing between that and G4 is the "Dork Age". However, the old ponies do suffer from a severe case of uncanny valley, it's like they tried for realistic with a cartoony touch, and didn't quite stylize enough. No, the series that game right after the original. The "slice of life" one where they were all high-schoolers or something. Wait, I remember, I think it was "My Little Pony Tales".
