Ahem, excuse me. Hello there! I'm a college student (Chemistry major), an avid gamer of many things, like World of Warcraft, Halo, Borderlands, Super Smash Brothers, etc., and I also enjoy pony fanfiction quite a bit.

 

What sort of weird name is HandMan? Well, back when my friends at college and I played Super Smash Brothers Brawl (we stick to Project: Melee now, a mod for Brawl), whenever the assist trophy that was the guy that shot golden hands across the stage, pushing you to your death, we would all yell variations of "SHIT, IT'S HANDMAN!" and drop everything to avoid being killed. Something about that assist trophy made us stupid, since we wouldn't ever have issues with very slow moving walls of death, except for that guy.

 

I first realized I was a brony about 5 months ago, after finally saying, "Okay, this MLP: FiM thread on MMO-Champion is constantly up at the top of the recent forum posts, time to see what's up," and watching my first episode on TV (at 2 AM, weirdly). It was either Cutie Mark Chronicles or Sonic Rainboom, but either way, I had the not-so-uncommon thought of "What in the world am I watching, and why is it so damned good?!" Then it just proceeded from there, as I watched more episodes and found Fimfiction, where my inner Twilight squee'd at all the stories there.

 

I like all of the Mane 6 almost equally, but if I was forced to choose my favorite, I would say it's a tie between Twilight and Fluttershy. Twilight because she's like a college kid, complete with neurotic breakdowns and anti-socialism while studying. Lesson Zero was one of my favorites, because at the end I was thinking, this is straight out of finals week, minus the whole brainwashing thing. She's also a sort-of overpowered mage. C'mon, reversing gravity? Blinking around like it's nothing? That's cool. And Fluttershy because, well, she's just adorable.

 

Jeez, I wrote all that? I'm sorry. Anyways, hello again, and thanks for havin' meh.
