So yeah, I've been a brony since all the way back to late July of 2011. It has been a while, hasn't it? Back then, we were all curious if this little "Discord" character would be good or not. And now...you all enjoy him, don't you?

 

Anyways, I decided to finally take the plunge to ring in the new year. My username is not my real name, it was just something I made up in case I need a pen name in the future.

 

Possibly the biggest contribution I've made to the fandom is fanfiction, with my most popular story being Pinkie Pie Discovers Coffee. It is currently down since it needs a lot of work. Maybe I'll finally make the needed edits this weekend, with the three week break and all.

 

Hopefully I'm not the only RHCP fan here. Man, if you're tolerant of that kind of music, it's a fun ride.

 

One last thing: I liked season 2 the best, but so far, with the exceptions of One Bad Apple and Spike At Your Service, I have really enjoyed Season 3. I know not everypony thinks that, but seriously Sleepless In Ponyville is my current favorite episode.

 

Best pony? Luna, with Twilight coming in close.

Hey there Felix, great name btw. My name is Sapphire Gem and I'm new to the pony world. I just started watching two days ago and I am hooked! I find it fascinating however that you have been a brony since 2011! That's cool! I am also looking forward to your fan fiction of Pinkie Pie discovering coffee!! Sounds great! As I have only started watching two days ago, I would assume I am watching the third season and I have to say I like it. While simultaneously watching the first season, I bet I will find things wrong with it that more seasoned ponies and bronies are finding but for the newb that I am, lol, I like it just fine. Do you dislike anything specific about it?

The fanfic's been on FIMFiction for a while, it was really popular with over 9,000 hits. I was really happy about that.

 

The first season? It does feel like a warmup exercise with the characterization at times, but otherwise it's fine. Season 1 is very consistant in quality, Season 2 has better episodes but also ones not as good, while Season 3 is like 2 in that way.

Congrats on so many hits on your fan fiction! I am really a newb to this online world of fan fiction forums and role playing. I dabbled a bit in role playing on tumblr for awhile but when the semester started I have to shut my character down. I'll be sure to look it up and read it though!

 

I see what you are saying about seasons 2 and 3. As with any successful show, it's only normal to want to try new things and see what works for the audiences, what they're receptive to and what they aren't. Yet when you have such a large following as MLP does, it doesn't come without nasty feedback about the change.
