Pinkie Pie; Private Eye: Apple Jack's Murder: Teaser

Pinkie Pie sat at her spinny chair. She bit her lip and resisted the urge to spin around in circles.
Because, she was at her job today. This was no time to mess around.
She looked at the sign on her door. It read, "Detective Pie; Private Eye." The sign reminded her of her importance.
So many ponies were counting on her, she had to solve this case.

There was a knock at her door. "Password." Pinkie Pie said jokingly, even though she recognized the familiar knock
of her co. Private Eye. "PinkiePieisBestPony." Said the voice outside the door, as if they were reciting it for the hundredth time.
Pinkie Pie laughed. "Come in!"

The door opened and Twilight Sparkle stepped into the room. "Sorry I'm late."
She apologized. "I barely got any rest, I mean, this is one of the worst cases ever."
"I understand." Pinkie Pie nodded.  
"At least when we find out who murdered AppleJack, we can rest." Pinkie Pie Agreed.

The story idea is great. It really caught my attention, but the grammar is kinda meh. Not a big deal though.
