Summary: She kept her face calm, blue eyes narrowed in a stone gaze in trying to keep the fear from creeping into them. Every part of her body was tense from cheek to hoof in seeing the outline of the beast of the moon for the moment. Every born natural instincts in her body told to her run, seek shelter but if she did that, then the wolf would be on her in moments with teeth ready.

Silverstream had spent years training her magic and body, facing many creatures of the Everfree forest and keeping them from coming out into the calm lands of the ponies. Yet this was a whole new level of a monster, an alpha timber wolf if anything. Huge in words and wild in eyes of amber watching the unicorn standing before him just a leap away. Silver had only heard of them living deep in the forest and never coming out but it seems all tales could be broken.

Feral growls filled the night air, making the unicorn shiver a moment but narrowing her eyes all the more as the horn glowed a bright silver color, sparks of cerulean shimmering in the air in the gathering of magic from around. This beast had to face her to get to the others and Silver would do everything in her power to drive the animal back to the forest….

Note: Silverstream is my unicorn OC who has been training in warrior magic by herself in the Everfree Forest.  Used Gimp 2.6 for effects for the light and shadows and such.
