I was just curious if anyone here does animation (like in flash or something like that). I see a lot of flash animators on YouTube and Newgrounds.

I'm in my final year at uni studying 2D animation.

But yeah, apparently I'm supposed to go out and look for a job or something in a few months when I'm done. At least that's what they tell me.

That avatar looks very familiar (.MOV series?) anyway what exactly is "theory work"? is it like supposed to like a real word application or something?

It's Colgate, actually.

 

 

 

 

Theory work is where I get to read lengthy books about a chosen topic that relates to animation and write a needlesly pedantic essay about it. I usually write about fairy tales, cartoons, fan cultures, and surrealist cinema. 

We also have quite a few business modules and film studies because they like to give us 2 extra projects to work on on top of the other 3 or 4 they've already given us. Because who needs a social life.
