My first success with charcoal, its actually not too hard to use really. at first i didnt like this OC, but when I put the beret, scarf, and Ace of Spades, i fell in love with it!!! Hope you like it too. you may criticize and scale from 1/10 but take it easy, this is my first time using charcoal img-1540301-2-smile.png Edit: if you're going  to brohoof please add a reply

You've done a fine job, especially since this is the first time you've used this medium. Charcoal is technically easier than pencil I've found, not to mention you can get a WIDE arrange of values with charcoal alone. It's a bit smudgy here and there but Charcoal likes to be that way derpy_emoticon2.png

If you're planning to use charcoal s'more (and if you're not using it already) look into trying a kneaded eraser. It's fantastic for absorbing charcoal and you can mold it into any shape you need to. It has another use after it doesn't absorb charcoal/graphite as well as it used to and makes more marks than absorb. Its great for making light values because you can lightly apply some of the absorbed charcoal back to the paper itself. Dual purposed eraser you say? Don't mind if I do!

If you do not GO after what you want, you'll never have it. If you do not ASK, the answer will always be NO.

If you do not step froward, you'll always be in the same place.

Looks nice! If you will plan to colour it in the future then I'd sure be even more happy. Really nice drawing!

10/10 all good. No flaws. (so far)
