Thunder Dash finished his cocktail. "Alright, it's time to teach that mare a lesson about what happens when you're a loud mouth around here". Thunder Dash said getting up and walking towards Grand Finale. "Yo Grand, I challenge you to a race. Every single bit is on the line here. If I win, I take it all. If you win, you take it all." Thunder Dash said slamming his hoof in the table.

"What? I'm no racer. That's an irresponsible bet. Y'see, gamblings my thing, not racing." She said. "I don't know anything about racing! You take me for an idiot? Cause I can tell you now that I am definitely not!" She walked over to the door "I'll see you boys later" and she walked out.

"Ah, well, me, I'm a racing veteran. I know when to bet it all and went to bet a little." Thunder Dash said as he followed Grand Finale out to his Charger. "And in my racing experience, I've encountered all types of racers. I've even encountered some of the most prideful, cocky racers, who all they know is how to talk trash. I one time beat this guy in a pink slips race, which is how I won my Charger. I'll tell you the rest of the story when we're lounging at the garage sometime." Thunder Dash said as he started his car and revved it.

Solarwind didn't feel like going back just yet. He ordered a few drinks while he was here and eventually found a few pretty mares to talk too. He though about calling the garage and telling them he would be home late but decided against it. He had allot of work tomorrow and figured a bit of relaxation wouldn't kill him.

Thunder Dash suddenly saw Solar Wind in the bar. "Hey what's up? I'm so glad those cops didn't catch you. I was a little worried when you took off so fast like that." Thunder Dash said to Solar Wind as he drank the last of his black apple cocktail. He then noticed that Grand Finale had left the bar.

"Almost did. I ran into a bit of a... hiccup, with the police. I have to work on the bike a bit more, I want it to leave cops in the dust! One started gaining on me, and I had to do some tricky maneuvers to get away... "

 

He took a deep sip of his hard cider, and listened to the mindless chatter in the bar.

"Gotta watch out for those cops. They are merciless toward street racers. They want them gone forever. But we won't be defeated by those nasty cops. We'll just have to find more ways of getting by them while racing. Also, the cops' technology is increasing, which gives them the advantage. Fortunately, I've been working on a couple of cool gadgets at the garage. I'll show them to you when we get back." Thunder Dash explained.

"Yes, indeed. I was reckless. Things aren't going to be easy, already feeling the insomnia creep in.."

 

He felt nausea's just thinking about all the sleep he would miss working on all those cars, it would be irritating and may even painful, but he had no choice. had to make money.

Thunder Dash then decided to head back to the garage, where he continued working on some jump springs. He already installed them on his car, but waited for Solar to save up for a car. He then ran a horsepower test on his charger. It ran about 1000hp on the engine itself and an extra 200 with nitrous.
