Story Advice?

So, um...I want to write a little personal story for myself to get out of my writer's block, and I don't plan on posting it anywhere for personal reasons. Unfortunately, I'm not entirely sure how to write this type of story, so I need to ask you guys for some help. (Besides, I may need this stuff for when I go to finish one of my public stories...haven't updated that in months!)

 

So, basically...it involves a character being pregnant. My questions are...what kind of symptoms should show, and when? (I'd like to write about those in a comedic way...makes more sense in context...let's just say that who gets pregnant makes things awkward...xD) Also, even more importantly to me, how should the birth be written out? This one might get a bit too detailed, so it might be safer to PM me on that one... (I don't want to skip the birth because, well, for me that's kind of the main point to writing this thing )

 

Oh, and I'm posting this here because my story isn't MLP-related
