11:30 on a Saturday is falling, it's Twilight time
Out of the library her voice is calling, 'tis Twilight time
When purple-colored ponies mark the end of day
Spike will hear you, my friend, at Twilight time

Deepening shadows gather splendor as day is done
Hooves of Luna will soon surrender the Celestia sun
I count the moments ponies till you're here with me
Together at last at Twilight time

Here, in the afterglow of day, we keep our rendezvous on Saturday morning
And, in the same and sweet old way I watch the ponies again as I did then

Deep in the forest her wisdom will win like days of old
Lighting the spark of magic that proclaims new episodes untold
Each day I pray for the weekend just to be with pony
Together at last at Twilight time
