Description

Flareon is a red male, fire element alicorn pony that is the protagonist of My Little Pony: Will Of Fire. Flareon represents the element of fire and is the descendant of Nova, the leader of the Elemental Warriors, who sealed a black dragon named Alexei 10,000 years ago. Flareon was originally a human that was found by Twilight, who said she saw him lying unconscious on the ground. After meeting the princess of Equestria, Princess Celestia, he finds out that he is the "chosen one" by an ancient prophecy that says he is the one destined to defeat Alexei once and for all. He then marries Twilight due to a part of the prophecy saying that the "chosen one must choose one to marry that possesses an element of harmony who will in part bear the new future princess of Equestria". Flareon lives at Golden Oaks Library in Ponyville, along with his wife Twilight, her assistant Spike, and her pet Owlowiscious. Flareon's pet is the child of Amaterasu, a white wolf pup named Chiberatsu, who is introduced in season 3. Flareon and Twilight eventually have a daughter, a white alicorn pony named Solana, who is introduced in season 2. Flareon sacrifices himself to defeat Alexei in the season 2 finale. He is later revived by "The Creator", a black and white alicorn named Infinity, in the season 3 opening. In the season 3 finale, Flareon becomes a prince along with Twilight, who becomes a princess after she changes into an alicorn. Similar to Twilight, Flareon loves to read books. Unlike Twilight who loves to learn new spells, Flareon loves to brew potions and is very skilled at making them, though he tends to mess up sometimes. Flareon is very skilled at playing the guitar, a DJ prodigy, knows how to surf, experienced at playing baseball, hockey, soccer, and can invent and create almost anything. Flareon is known to be stubborn, hot headed, prideful, has an ego, believes he is always right, and tries to do everything by himself, but Flareon is also known to be a natural born leader, very smart, responsible, caring, loyal, kind, honest, and does everything he can to protect Twilight and Solana. In the beginning, Flareon is very distant from everyone because he doesn't believe he naturally belongs, and thinks everyone only cares for him being the chosen one and nothing else, but throughout MLP:WOF, Flareon begins to change and realizes the value of friendship.
