My Newest OC

Well, I've made another OC. 

 

Fillies and Gentlecolts, I present to you: Choco Delights!

 

 

 

Age: 15

 

Gender: Filly

 

Species: Unicorn

 

Appearance: Chocolate Brown coat with double-shaded mane and tail. Kind of chubby too from all the chocolate and sweets she eats!

 

Cutie Mark: Two chocolate bars in the shape of an X surrounded by a circle of pink hearts. She got it when she discovered her talent in making chocolate and making ponies happy. (Will add to picture soon)

 

Personality: She's very giggly. Just about any joke can set off into a laughing fit. She's very kind and very sociable. However, she struggles when things get serious. She may sometimes think it's a big joke, but she must be told in a way, that wouldn't make her upset because she's also very sensitive to what ponies say about her.

 

Backstory: Born in Ponyville, Choco Delights was always attracted to candy and sweets, especially chocolate. As a filly, she would sometimes sneak and steal chocolate bars from the local chocolate shop. She was only caught twice but got away with it. When enrolled in school, she was teased and poked at because of her chubbiness. Because of this, she became upset. She learned later that everypony looks at her differently, which took a long time to understand. Also, the fact that she was the only blank flank in her class also contributed to the teasing and belittling. 

But, a day came when that same chocolate shop, the one that Choco Delight used to steal from when she was a foal, was almost bankrupt. The owner, who was a blank flank, just couldn't make chocolate the right way. Choco Delights decided to help him and because of her giggly and bubbly personality, the magic inside her started to build. All of that cheerfulness she carried around in her, created a new talent in her. On that day, she made her very first chocolate bar. She gave it to the old owner to taste it and he said it was the best chocolate he'd ever eaten. Choco Delight had the biggest smile on her face, which was when she earned her cutie mark.

 

Other: She likes other sweets and fruits

But she HATES vegetables. 

She accidentally taught herself a weight gain spell

I think she's very... Sweet. (Oh come on, you should've expected that!)

 

I noticed that you didn't include her eye color, just sayin' :3

 

One detail stood out for me. I find it hard to believe that the owner of the candy shop could be a blank-flank. If he's the owner, it implies that he's old enough to actually, well, own a shop. By that age, all ponies have their cutie marks. 

 

Also, is there any particular reason why you chose her to be a unicorn? It sounds like she's an Earth pony, if you only focus on her backstory.
