Funrise releases more plush dolls than 4th Dimension. Why?

When I look at Funrise's MLP plush-dolls and compare them with 4th Dimension, aside from just show accuracy, it seems the former is releasing several times more of their own plush dolls than the latter.  Funrise just came out with Princesses Celestia, Cadence, and Twilight, and are coming soon with Vinyl Scratch, Applejack with her stetson, and Ms. Cheerilee.  However, with 4th Dimension, they're releasing their own line of plush-dolls more slowly, which is why I couldn't find a release date for the Fluttershy dolls, and why I've yet to see plush-dolls of the other Mane Six plus Twilight with wings.

Why do you think it's like that?  Is it because Funrise plush-dolls are being rushed, while 4th Dimension moves slowly to focus on every little detail in their plush-dolls?

The funrise plushies look like they're easily, and cheaply mass produced. The 4DE plushies look like they're high quality. The fact that they're high quality means they're not so easy to mass produce, I'm assuming. This may explain why it takes so long for them to release new ones (Fluttershy).

Anyways, I think I'll go buy the 4DE Twilight Plush. I've been meaning to do so. Wait...They're out of stock?

I hope they put them back in stock soon. I would just buy a Pinkie, but I don't want to pay for shipping twice. But what if by the time Twilight is back in stock, Pinkie will be out of stock. Confound these pony-plush makers. They drive me to drink.

Also, in my opinion the only Funrise plush that doesn't look kinda crappy is the Celestia one. That one is more acceptable than the other in my opinion.

I suspect there are experience and size issues as well. 4DE's previous business seems to have been mostly in books, posters, some shirts and other clothes, but not toys, so they're likely having to forge new business relationships and learn how to do things as they go. Moreover, they don't seem to be particularly large, which doubtlessly has a negative effect on how quickly they can roll new products out and how much they can produce at a time.

They go in and out of stock. The plushie currently standing on my computer can testify that they allowed orders for Twilight about a week before your post--but at that time Pinkie wasn't in stock. I don't know that I've ever seen them both in stock at the same time, except maybe right when they put Pinkie available in the first place.

Funrise plushes seem to be of lower quality and therefore, easier to mass produce. 4th Dimension ones on the other hand, are of higher quality and take more time to release, let alone mass release like Funrise does.
