Well it seems to start (after reading some of the introduction material) that I am a blank flank eager to work her way up to muffin. This is my first forum, and the first time that I've ever actively participated in fan-based culture.  I am a Canadian, it is winter now and I am a little giddy at thought of connecting with other MLP fans while barricaded in because of snow (I am partly kidding).

As mentioned above I recently finished watching a really nice documentary on brony culture and the enthusiasm of everyone at the conventions and the personal stories of community through forums I found were quite inspiring.

I am a recent psych grad who likes to read, cook for people, play with puppies, watch more tv than is probably good for me, be with my friends, listen to music, run, write ( a little), and be there to help others when I can.

I had a very difficult time choosing of the mane 6 which was my favourite. Like many of you I identify with more than one of the central characters and it was a close tie with a lot of hemming and hawing over Twilight Sparkle or Fluttershy. Because my dream is to become a librarian some day Twilight had immediate appeal however, coming from a psychology background and a bit of a trained ear in compassionate listening Fluttershy will always be a bit of an inspiration for me.

 

So I look forward to talking and connecting with other ponies and bronies...specially if it involves talk of books and baked goods:D
