My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Twilight Sparkle

How did you find MLP Forums?: It was a very random encounter after doing a little web-surfing along the waves of information. I actually discovered this website completely by accident; and being a brony already, I saw little to no reason as to why I shouldn't have joined.

How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: One word says it all: curiosity. At the dawn of the year 2012, I have seen numerous instances of brony influence all across the net. I've seen fan art practically around every corner and many shares of crossovers, such as with anime, television shows, books, movies, and much more. I've also heard that the animation, story, and characters of MLP are actually very well done. I just had to know for sure! So, one quiet morning after an adventure involving my own medical treatment, I decided to surf the web for a way to view the first episode... I WAS BLOWN AWAY. There was and always will be such a contrast between what's seen and done in My Little Pony that I just don't see anywhere else. Where there is gang violence, murder, and other acts of brutal violence that highlights the media, there then comes My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. A show that defies what society sees as cool and worth seeing. Instead of guns and fighting, you have ponies and magic that make their own personal journeys to discover the true meaning of friendship. They learn to care for others and treat each other just as they ought to be in the first place. Because of such a contrast and much more, I instantly fell in love with the series. Its purities and good message are really what keep me hooked to this day. My word, that was long!

After answering a couple of questions prior to the main body of this post, I'm almost certain that I've gotten across the kind of person I am; but hey, maybe I'll just do it all again...

 

Hello internet, from this point forward, I will be known as Thorenthal!(Or at least, for this site)  I've developed a reputation just sizable enough to have a couple of shortened names such as "Thor" and "Thoren".  So you see, just by having this name, I've been marked with the name of a god!  But actually, I don't think of myself as a god really; just a person--sometimes a pony.  ANYWAY...

 

On the very first brony forum I signed up for, I had the luxury of relaying a short little hospital tale; but alas, I am completely healthy at the moment(save for a few scratches), so there will be no breathtaking or super amazing story for this introduction!

 

This post is already rambling on, so I will finally get to the point after ten thousand years of word stuffs! 

 

One thing about MLP forums that always piques my interest is the roleplaying realm!  For at least four years, I have been a wordy and ruthless roleplayer!  My music playing needs work, and my drawing would have you mistake me for a five-year-old; but when I try to write, it paints an eons-better picture than my drawing hand could ever produce.  If you ever want to roleplay, then by all means, I'd love to join you!(If there's time, of course >.>)

 

I do look forward to a pleasant experience on this forum, and of course, meeting any and all participants I may soon encounter!

My word, does patience really pay off!  I suppose it doesn't take long for topics to explode, does it?  This will be very fun indeed!   But gosh... Three consecutive replies with an exact two minute difference between each! I'll bet they planned this...

Anyway, it always brings a great deal of warmth to know how welcoming our fellow community can be, no matter where you visit.  I'd most definitely like to return all of your courtesy for replying, and so this post will address all that replied!

Well hey there, forum hugger! *Hugs back*, don't worry; hugs are a necessity in my life.  What's life without them?  It's more than enough to know that everyone on this website has one thing in common: our love for ponies and magic; and it's even more amazing to know that there are those who share much more than that.  Basically(finally, the point!), it's always exciting to encounter another writer!  I'm kind of itching to show off a little bit(just a little, I promise!), so chances are that we'll meet in another topic very soon.  I will anticipate it!
