My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Applejack

How did you find MLP Forums?: A friend was looking for a good pony forum and found this place. He referred me to it, and here I am!

How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: I started hearing buzz about a new MLP series in Summer of 2011. Although at first highly skeptical, I gave it a shot and watched a couple of episodes on YouTube. I was favorably impressed, and was hooked when Twilight Sparkle successfully faked out a demigoddess through fast thinking.

Hello all! Talisman here. I'm an adult brony, occasional fanfic-writer and even more occasional scribbler. I tend to get along with most ponies, though I have slight Grammar Nazi tendencies (a few typos are one thing, but I despise lazy, sloppy writing). I'm an avid fan of fantasy, especially Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, Butcher's Dresden Files, and Beagle's The Last Unicorn. I also have a morbid fascination with terrible literature and seeing it dissected.

 

Applejack is my favorite pony. Her responsible and hard-working personality and her country charm are very appealing to me. Trixie is my second-favorite, since I find her hammy showpony persona charming, and I think she's a good mare under all the flash and glitter. I don't really dislike any of the Mane Six or secondary ponies.

 

I ship Sparity, Fluttermac and Lyrabon, but I'm tolerant of other ships.

 

I also have a fondness for respectful debate, whether serious or nonsensical. If you want to argue I'll gladly oblige, but I won't fight.
