Grayson's backstory (THE PONY NOT ME)

Hello, I recently made an original character on the Pony Creator over at deviant art and I wanted to share with you his backstory. Because what's a pony without a backstory, am I right? I plan on making this into an animation to help you guys get a better understanding of my story.

 

[The time is set before the first episode "Friendship is Magic" aired]

 

Grayson, or Gray as some of the ponies called him, had been in Ponyville for five years now since he moved from Manehatten. He thought that this town would be much more quiet than the bustling city of Manehatten. Ever since Grayson moved here, he kept noticing these six strange ponies and a tall alicorn mare with a dark red mane walking through town chatting about something that Grayson wanted to know about. You see Grayson was a nosy pony and wanted to know everything about every pony. The six ponies and the alicorn always stopped in the center of town where they would begin to practice for some play or something.

 

As time went on, Grayson grew more and more curious about what they were doing. So one day he decided to go and talk to his newest friend Cloudkicker, who stops by every now and then, to see what all this commotion is about. He was just about five hoof steps away from the door of Cloudkicker's part time home when he saw a note hanging from the door. 

 

Dear Grayson, I knew you wanted to talk to me today, but I had to go do some errands over at Cloudsdale. I will be back soon. From, Cloudkicker.

 

Cloudkicker knew Gray very well. She was the first pony that Grayson stumbled upon when he moved to Ponyville. Grayson decided that he wasn't going to wait for her because of his impatience. I'll just have to find out myself, Grayson thought to himself. So he slowly started walking to the center of town were the six ponies and the alicorn mare were still practicing. He noticed that a camera crew had come in this time and were setting up to start filming.

 

"Alright every pony," proclaimed the white alicorn "get into position!"

 

Grayson glanced over to his right and saw what appears to be a band that was getting ready to preform some piece of music. As Grayson watched the cast and crew get into their positions, he saw this giant pink hot air ballon that was way up in the clouds. 

 

"Ok, Twilight Sparkle," said the alicorn with a megaphone "are you ready up there?"

 

"Yes, I'm ready Mrs. Faust!" Twilight yelled back.

 

Faust pointed to the band director to start the music. The director nodded and he taped his wand on the stand three times and began to count down from three. Grayson stood there scratching his head in a confusing matter. What in the wide, wide world of Equestria is going on here! He thought to himself. Grayson looked at the town hall's clock and noticed that it was five o' clock.

 

"Cloudkicker should be getting off work " said Grayson with much enthusiasm, "I'd better go see if she's home". 

 

Grayson took one last glance at Mrs. Faust and trotted off towards Cloudkickers house. Cloudkicker lived on the far side of town away from all the excitement of the center. She liked to be around people, but not all the time. Grayson knocked on the door with a knock only he and Cloudkicker knew. She opened the door with a smile on her face.

 

"Hi Cloudkicker," said Grayson.

 

"Grayson, it's so nice to see you," she said with a pleasing tone, "come on inside we can talk about all that chaos that's going on over at the town hall."

 

The two of them enter the living room. She offers Grayson to make himself at home. As Grayson sits down on the empty couch he asks "So, what's going on over at the town hall?"

 

Cloudkicker looked at Grayson with an excited expression and said, "Well you see, ever since you moved  here Lauren Faust, the alicorn, has been working with those six ponies for some big television show. I think she was going to call it My Little Pony, I'm not to sure. But, she did say that I could be on the set as a background pony."

 

"That's awesome Cloudkicker," Grayson said with joy, "you get to be on T.V that's so cool."

 

They both talked for hours on end about the show. She told Grayson about the cast and their personalities and what their roles were in the show. Grayson asked if he could be apart of the cast, but Cloudkicker said only who Lauren Faust picks can be on the show. Cloudkicker told Grayson that whenever Lauren Faust came up with a new episode that she would let him know before any pony else.  As time went on, Grayson grew tired and told Cloudkicker he needed to get some sleep. She told him how nice of him it was to stop by and to come again soon. 

 

"My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic huh," Grayson said curious, "sounds like a neat show, I can't wait until it airs."

What do you guys think about my pony's backstory? I will make this into a two part animation because I have more to put into this story. Why did I leave it like this? Because I wanted to leave you guys on a cliffhanger.
