My liking My Little Pony is no weirder than watching Star Trek TNG reruns or dubbed anime.

 

One day, we were on Skype and I told her, "Discord is the greatest enemy."

 

She went on a tirade about going to meetings with the other little old ladies at church and getting so IRRITATED that they were only interested in getting along and not raising a fuss.

 

She calmed down after I put the episode on and she figured out that he was just Q.  I can't get her to watch more episodes because the voices  are too screechy. 

 

Still, it raises a point about the message of Harmony against Discord.
