Dying Fetus was the first band to get me into the whole tech death scene. Their first albums were really brutal, but over time, they evolved their technical elements overtime, providing a wonderful balance between brutal and technical. This album, out of all of them except the last one, Reign Supreme, is the best lineup they ever had. John Gallagher may be the only original member, but that doesn't matter. It was tough to pick which Death album I wanted to put on here. All of them are really great. But I chose Individual because they continued to improve on the progressive/technical elements after Human. This album is just a rush of brilliance, and many albums don't really make you "think" about the lyrics. This was the best direction that Death was going in.

Right off the bat with something that could make me lose my metal badge, I've loved Dethklok since the beginning. The first album was great, but you could tell that productions wasn't up to snuff.
