Thoughts on: the Reliability of the Epiglottis

Just wondering, does anyone else have the problem of their epiglottis being unreliable? As in, you'll swallow something (on purpose or accidentally), but it'll end up going down the wrong tube? I find that happening to myself all the time, mostly with hot liquids such as coffee, or my own saliva. In fact, I rarely drink hot liquids anymore for that specific reason; high likelihood I'll choke on it. I dunno, it just seems like a "You had ONE job!" moment on the part of the epiglottis.   For th

Hello and welcome to my head! Lotsa random whatnot happens in here, so don't say you weren't warned!   Well, this is the 1st post on this blog, and I figure I'll start it off by telling you guys what to expect.
