Impatience gets the better of me again, so I'm unveiling my newest project, and I'll be documenting my progress here. In any case, I needed to justify my decreasing activity.
This won't be an RP in the normal dime-a-dozen sense; I'm modeling this more on tabletop RPGs like D&D- I'm adding character stats, more possibilities for player-to-player interaction, Character Bios, and more. This will undoubtedly be one of the most ambitious projects I've ever started, and I'm excited.
It's also probably best to note that this scenario takes place before the founding of Equestria.
So, best to start with a synopsis. I'm by no means an experienced writer, but I'm making an effort here:
Their worst fears had come to pass. The mad queen Allystaire had risen to the throne. Alas, she could not be deposed, as her magical power was beyond that of mere mortals. Dabbling in the forbidden arts had ensured that. Even the once-powerful pegasus armies could do naught but tremble at her feet. Since time immemorial, the three factions of ponies had stayed apart from each other, embroiled in bickering and grudges, until now.
But for some ponies, there was still a faint glimmer of hope. A hope that burned within them, fueled by dreams of days to come. For if dreams could not turn to reality, what would the world come to? This eclectic band of heroes, worn ragged by years of oppression, set out on a near-impossible quest: to depose the queen, or else die trying...
And, as eye candy, I have a sample drawing. These will eventually end up as part of my character bios.
So, if you have any comments/suggestions/demeaning insults, be sure to tell me. I always seek to improve, and mistakes are of course the best way to do so
(This means you, experienced RPers! I need to know if this is worth following through on.)
