So I'm new to animation and I created this blog to not only help me, but other people out there with animation. I for one barely know anything about animation other than what Fiipnote Studio provided for the Nintendo DSi and 3DS. I want this to include start up and software in this entry, because I know there are tons of options out there so if people could give tips and stuff, that would be great. :sneer:

Right now I'm using Flash CS5 for my Computer Animation class and we're learning out of a book called "How to Cheat in Adobe Flash CS5". It's really helpful, but it's be kinda expensive.

 

There's also Toon Bloom which is an animation program.

 

Krita offers free animation but it's still in beta.

 

What I REALLY recommend is to watch Crowne Prince's series on animation. It's been helpful for me.

Thank you so much, I've wanted to learn animation, but I don't have the resources to learn it correctly right now.
