All bout that Art therapy
Let's talk about art therapy for this particular blog entry.
It is exactly as it sounds the use of art work as a tool to aid those recovering from things such as psychological or childhood traumatic experiences.
In other words this type of therapy is more about helping with social and other mental issues that it may be more difficult to communicate about normally.
It can be especially helpful with Alzheimer's patients or abused children to help with the recovery of lost/repressed memories.
Official organizations within America include the American art therapy association (AATA)
