So over my forum break, i got an idea for a mlp remake. It has kind of a sad theme, but that is one of the reasons  i like it. It has some similarities to mlp: fim but some parts I came up with myself. 

Also, like in mlp: fim all main characters are girls and instead of Ponyville, it's Fillydelphia.

Main characters: 

• Red Light (mlp: fim version: Twilight Sparkle) 

Age: 10 

Species: alicorn with small wings

Red Light lives with her very and I mean, very very strict alicorn aunt  Queen Solar Flare. Or Solar Ray. I am  still deciding. Red Light goes to Canterlot MMS Academy. 

Solar Flare grounds Red Light each time she gets a bad grade. but that happens very rarely, actually it never  happen . Red Light's mother is Queen Selena ( she's an alicorn too) who was banished to the moon. At that time red light was only 2. 

All of the free time that she gets, red light spends trying to find a spell that will bring her mother back. 

Red Light is highly allergic so she can't have a pet.  

She can't fly. 

Her favorite things are: reading & studying, her friends, her mother and magic  

 

• Honey Bunches ( mlp fim version: Applejack) 

Age: 12 Species: earth pony

Honey Bunches lives in a small house in fillydelphia with her father ( Earth pony) Big Apple and her little sister, pegasus Appy. 

Her mother was a pegasus.

Honey Bunches has been living in fillydelphia since she was born. She helps around the house a lot and offen goes to sleepaway camp in summer. 

Loves: friends, nature,  healthy foods and her family.

 

•  Surprise ( mlp fim version: pinkie pie)

 Age:11, species: pegasus 

 

Surprise lives outside of fillydelphia, on a sad farm. She hates doing farm chores but it's not like she has a choice. 

She does not has a choice because she's the only child. 

She rarely has time to do anything fun, so goin to school is an escape from her home & family ( she also signed up for a club every day after school, so she could be longer at school ) 

 

Her parents are not a lot of fun but they still love Surprise. 

Favorites: school, friends and being away from her home. 

 

• Teapot ( or in mlpfim, Fluttershy) 

Age: 11 species: earth pony 

Lives in a cottage with her fam ( mom, dad and older sister and lots of pets,  but mostly a drago n Purple) 

Her older sister never lets her to be with purple and also, hates Teapot.

At school, her doings are not so good. She fails every class except for art and music and some ponies bully her   

Her entire family is pegasus. 

Her older sister is 15.

 

 

Favorite things: animals & nature, mom & dad, friends.

 

• Diamond Glory ( also known as Rarity) 

 Age:12 species: unicorn 

 

Diamond Glory's parents are divorced so every week she moves from her mother's to her father's. Her family is rich. No siblings whatsoever. 

She is a popular pony at school and mostly a happy pony but her family issues  other hurt her spirit. 

Both of her parents don't understand the modern tween/ teen ponies so Diamond's talents seem like nothin to her parents .

A very creative pony 

Fav things: her admirers, her friends, mom and dad, art class , creating stuff and making dresses.

 

 

• Freckle ( aka Rainbow Dash)

* need name change* 

Age:11 species: pegasus. 

 

Hates her name. Loves sports and flying. Hates school. Lives in clouds above fillydelphia.

 A Popular Pony at school, Freckle has a nickname " cool rainbow" that her friends and fans made for her. 

Family: mom&dad = pegasus ponies. Dad is a wonderbolt. Mom is a private flyer for hire. Has an adopted sister, Lily. Freckle hates her because she is a unicorn and she has to live with her. 

Favorite thongs list: Too long.
