So our family recently got Netflix - I have an account (mine is the one we're putting on the Wii), and my dad has an account as well.

My mom is into animation (not quite on the level that I am at, but she shows interest in a wide variety - mostly sci-fi, though), so I tried a little experiment.

I started with Trigun. Then went to Fullmetal Alchemist (I got lucky here - it was the episode "Mother", which basically answered every question she had as it went along). Then I jumped into Pony. So far she's seen the second and third acts to Bridle Gossip, as well as most of Baby Cakes (she was out of the room for the third act due to dinner).

She showed a degree of interest in all three. I think we may develop another pony fan over the next few months.
