Starting my journey of self-appreciation.
I'm just going to be very honest about how I'm feeling right now, as I feel I need to express it.
For most of my life, I've always felt unhappy with myself to some degree, as I'd often end up comparing myself to others. I realize that this is unhealthy and counter-productive, so I'm making a change.
Instead of thinking how great so-and-so is for their accomplishment(s) and ending up feeling down or even bitter, I'm going to work towards doing that for myself. If I want to be the best I can be in every sense of the word, I need to be the one that creates that change.
So, from now on, I'm going to do my best to finally achieve happiness with myself, to actually believe in myself.
This is not going to be an easy journey by any means, but it's one I need to take.
Goodbye negativity, hello optimism!
