Thoughtless
This song's in my head for some reason.
I'm not sure why I'm still awake. I don't know why this song shows up out of nowhere. I figure since I'm here and all I might as well start rambling.
I'm not sure why I made this blog separate from my other blog. I have no idea what I was thinking when I made two separate blogs. I guess my nighttime thoughts are different than my daytime thoughts? No idea.
That being said, Let's discuss the song, since I am effectively brain-dead and cannot process anything but pure raw emotionless thought.
And yet, this song is full of emotion and quite lacking in though. It was originally by Korn (like pretend the R is backwards n stuff), but I heard this version first, and after taking a listen at the original it sounded really really weird. Like no offense to those who like the original, or anything. Just like, my opinion and stuff.
Wow, so many typos I needed to fix in that paragraph. Sleeplessness is definitely not good on the brain.
Moving on to the actual song itself. It starts out with a spooky yet melodious tune, and Amy wooes us with her wonderful singing voice. Like seriously this band is bucking awesome omg. But if you pay attention to the lyrics, you will see the raw hatred behind her sweet, melodious voice. And when I say sweet and melodious, I MEAN sweet and melodious like holy shit this girl can sing.
Then they start playing the drums and the guitars n stuff and it starts feeling more hatred-y. Amy sounds angry as well now. You start to feel the anger, rather than just seeing it. Then comes the chorus. It sounds a bit weird, hearing Amy swear, but it adds so much to the pure, raw emotion.
The rest of the song carries out mostly the same, with Amy singing about how she was wronged and how much she hates the person who wronged her. This song is clearly about the pure, thoughtless hatred you feel when someone has wronged you. When you've been beaten and bruised (literally or not), and the only thing on your mind is vengeance. All of us have felt it at one point in our lives, I'm sure, and for some of us there are just some things that bring out the worst in us, no matter the source. But this song expresses the thoughts of those in this unfortunate position, and brings them out to the light.
Well, I'm tired now, and I can only think so much before it starts hurting. I'm gonna take another crack at sleeping again and hope it works this time. But thank you all for reading, if you did that is, and if not then no matter, that's cool too. I probably won't even remember this in the morning.
Ciao.
