  • Backstory

    Starshine was a former student at Canterlots School for Gifted Unicorns. Starshine was a golden student and a teacher's pet. Always getting the best grades on her tests. History and magic were her best subjects. She would always read books on events that happened in history or the different types of magic. One thing that caught her eye were powerful rulers in history and the legacy they left behind. Whether it was good or bad. Starshine wanted to go down in history. Have her story told for centuries. So she studied harder than ever before. So that one day she can have a powerful position. Maybe even become Celestia’s pupil? Her future looked so bright it looked like a star. But one day, a new pony arrived at the school. A lilac unicorn named Twilight Sparkle.

     

     Due to her high intelligence, Starshine thought she was a threat to her dreams. So she teased Twilight, trying her best to destroy her self-confidence. But all this failed and so they became bitter rivals. Competing against each other to be Celestia’s pupil. Both worked hard to outcompete each other. But this rivalry would end at the final exam. Both chose two different topics. This was the day, one will fall and the other will be a star in the night sky. Both of them we’re in different rooms. Ready to show their magic skills to their examers. Starshine was ready to show off her skill when a sudden explosion caught her off guard. Accidently shooting a magic beam at her project, destroying it. She failed, but when she heard that Twilight made it in. She was furious, all her dreams destroyed. Her star now snuffed out. So she made it her goal to get revenge on Twilight for ruining her life.

     

    After college, she was approached by a mysterious pony who was amazed by her skill. He offered her a way to get back at Twilight. But only if she does something for him. Gather five other ponies who have also been wronged. She agreed and gathered the five ponies. Making personal deals with each of them. It was then that the mysterious pony revealed that all of them were the Elements of Disharmony told by a prophecy made centuries ago. Starshine represented the Element of Power.

  • Personality

    Starshine can be described as smart, determined, and power hungry. She will not let things go easily and will always try to find away to finish what she started. No matter what. She's knows everything about magic and history. Especially rulers in history. Dreaming on becoming a powerful pony and going down in history. She think's the only way to do this is through power and nothing else. This caused her to become power hungry and do anything to gain power. However, she fear's failure. If she fails, then she will break down into tears. Whenever some pony brings up her past. She will get angry and tell the pony to not bring it up again. She actively tries to block out her past by suppressing her memories.
