    Some Times Are Tough

    Capper had always fancied himself as being a cut above the common criminal riff raff of Klugetown, with his quick wits and charming personality. Sure, he was a conman, but he wasnt a dirty conman. He was good at what he did, and he did it gracefully and with elegance. And so he always carried himself with an air of confidence and took pride in his work, even if it was only to help him forget his crippling debt and just how alone in the world he truly was.

    Schadenfreude. A name known throughout the castle, and frequently spoken in conjunction with the phrase "Oh, hell no." He's annoying. He's an expert at annoying the crap out of ponies. And he's Prince Blueblood's butler.
    He also loves his job.
    Join Schadenfreude as he regales with the tale of how Princess Twilight tries to correct his Cutie Mark.

    With a name like Schadenfreude and a special talent for either finding or setting off all those little nuances or annoying ticks that just drive ponies mad, you'd think he'd spend most of his time in prison. On the contrary.
    He's Prince Blueblood's butler.
    Actually, he does get thrown in the dungeon a lot.
    Here's just one of those instances.

    Having finally accepted the idea of shared love magic, Pharynx has transformed. Thorax's efforts to lead an excitable pack of changelings have only eased with his broodmate's help, but Pharynx's shape and status aren't the only things to have changed. Much of his brother's cold demeanor has begun to thaw, presenting Thorax with something he's never had, before - an interactive, albeit slightly irritating older brother.

    It's hot out, too damn hot, and JB - local human - regrets being outside.
    Still, he does bump into someone who isn't strictly-speaking in need of help but would still appreciate some, at least. The only thing warmer than the searing heat of the sun is the warm fuzzy glow of helping someone out.
    So it's not all bad.

    Celestia is the very image of beauty and perfection, and has been for over a thousand years. Inevitably, she receives a large number of letters every Hearts and Hooves Day. Luna is not amused, especially when they interfere with politics.

    Reader notes: Well, we're pretty far from Valentine's Day Hearts and Hooves day, but it shouldn't make much difference... I think.
