  1. ((Ohmygosh, I left for a day, and I miss two well-written pages..)) House Everfree (OFFICIALLY NOW [Yay!]) - The Old Castle Ruins - Lady Fluttershys' Dining Hall Jade awoke after a few minuted and almost jolted upright at the scene before her - a mega vine monster, inside of which was Evergreen, was whacking the Stormwing Commander and the other Stormwing ponies gathered while they hurled various weapons into it. Jade sat staring for a minute before she realized how stupid she was being. Slowly and silently, she crept from her position, eyes still mostly closed, and headed towards the soldiers. She snuck behind them and was unsure of what to do. Should she kill them? They wouldn't have hesitated to kill her, she knew, if they had to. She spotted a dagger in the belt of one soldier, but it would be too risky. Could she get help? No, no one even knew she was in House Everfree yet. She couldn't do what Evergreen was doing, seeing as she was an earth-pony, so that didn't leave many options. She couldn't and wouldn't run. No hiding either. So, that was a problem. The Cult of Laughter - Manehattan Inner City - Some Dungeon/Prison Derpy grunted in response to Lila, then bellowed in anger through the cloth in her mouth. How dare they torture Wind with cupcakes?! She tried with newly discovered strength to bash down the gates, not noticing the pony who had just addressed Wind.
  2. @Descant/Flareon @Windy Scamper ((Sorry for the lack of posting - I was busy with concerts and prepping for wearing a toga for today. Happy Ides of March, everyone!)) "Ah, thank you," said Actius when the waiter hoofed him the food. Actius scarfed it sown, and while his eating was too bad, it was still a bit unpleasant to look at. "Sorry, I didn't realize how hungry I was until I ate the food. So, you guys want to go to the falls now, maybe the gift shop afterwards?" It just occured to him them how strange it was that he had never seen a waterfall before. He'd been to many places to go to plays and such - Prance, Itaily, Germaney, Sweewing, Sao-Ponio, Neighppon - but he'd never gone to a waterfall. ((Hoofed=Handed, Germaney=Germaney, Prance=France, Itaily=Italy, Sweewing=Sweeden [wing as in pegasus wing], Sao-Ponio=Sao-Paulo, Neighppon=Japan [comes from Japanese word nippon which means horse]. So, HA. ))
  3. @Descant @Windy Scamper @...Whoever else is participating Actius saw Descants' strange behavior and turned his head to where he was looking. There Actius saw a pretty gray pegasus, a zebra-pony she seemed to be rather fond of, and a stallion who looked to be in a relationship with...Oh my, Actius thought. There at that table was a gorgeous blue earth-pony who, as mentioned earlier, appeared to be taken. Just as it had began to shoot sky-high, Actius' heart sank. She looked really nice, and very beautiful, but she was with...that guy. He seemed nice too, but Actius was saddened that his mare-friend was, well, his mare-friend. Well, what if they break up? Wait, what? Nonono, bad Actius. It's nice that she's...happy...besides, Encore already seems to like her too. He then turned away from the other table and saw Silent, who was rather pretty too. In neigh-school*, I wanted to be bombarded with gorgeous mares, or at least just one to go to prom with. Now, when I don't necessarily need that, I get too many! And there have only been three, one of which, that yellow-y one, I didn't even really like much! He sighed, a little confused by his emotions. He decided just to act natural, which almost never works for other ponies, but he's good at acting so it worked. Trying to save Encore a little, if that was even possible at this point, he asked, "Once we eat, do you guys want to go to that table and talk with those ponies? Encore, you've been on this train a while - are they riding as well?" This probably hurt more than helped, but it was worth a shot. ((*Neigh School = High School. Top that, Descant ))
  4. House Everfree (Pretty Much) - The Everfree Forest - The Old Castle Ruins - Fluttershys' Dining Hall Jade stared at the Stormwing soldiers as they marched towards Lady Fluttershy, the gaze of their leader commanding respect. Jade thought she might have recognized a face or two from when her home was taken, and dislike came forth, her expression going sour. When was midnight? She looked up at the clock and attempted to read it. Eleven...fifty-eight? I must speak the phrase in two minutes! Two minutes passed quickly, and soon it was midnight. Jade closed her eyes and, careful not to mispronounce anything, whispered, "Hist, Vol, Shiin." A shiver racked her body and her head looked towards the sky, gasping and gaping for breath. Her senses improved, her animalistic instincts grew stronger, and she felt almost one with the forest. It's beautiful, she thought, overwhelmed with the other sensations going through her body and mind. A feeling of dread also hit her, and she felt like it was saying, Watch out. It quickly subsided, however, and the feelings ceased, although her senses were still heightened much and her animal side showed more, as it had never before. She wasn't sure how much of the transformation was visible by the others, but the thought dissapeared as soon as it came - she passed out. The Cult of Laughter - The Fillydelphia Hideout - ...A Small Pond Mayor Mare had gotten the message from all the way in Hoofington, and she'd had quite the trouble getting to the Cults' main hideout discreetly, but she had managed to do so and walked up to Prophet Cranky at the designated meeting place - a small pond, not worthy of being mapped. She handed the package to Cranky, and he opened it in confusion. He read the letter of Fluttershys' all the way through, right to the end. At first he felt longing, then irritation at the end. How dare she insult the ways of the cult? And she had ruined a Doll! Cranky took out the head for parts and threw the rest of the package into the pond. The Mayor, while mad, still knew what the war had done, and her old self came back a bit when she looked at the party had and tooth. She watched as the package spiraled downwards into the murky black depths of the pond, down to its' watery grave. The Cult of Laughter - The Fillydelphia Hideout - The Main Graveyard A few hours later, when no one was watching, Cranky placed the hat and the tooth on Pinkies' grave. "I'm so sorry," he sobbed. He sat and waited for an answer, for hours and hours, weeping all the while, but none came...
  5. @Descant @Windy Scamper "I'll take a Sprint*, please." The waitress jotted down Actius' order and looked to Encore for his. Actius took the moment to look around, and he was surprized by what he had missed - there was a sparkling fountain in a small little park, a smaller, more quiet-looking theater next to the large, showy one he had gone to, lots of little stores and shops. He would have to check some of those places out after lunch. "It's such a nice day out today," he thought aloud, and it truly was. ((*That's the best ponification for a soda I could think of [sprite --> Sprint]))
  6. @Descant @Windy Scamper "I forget the name," Actius said to Descant, "but I think it was right about...here!" He pointed with his hoof to a spot on the map. It was orange for shops and restraunts, and it served soups, salads, pastas and more. "Alon-zi!" And with that, they headed off.
  7. @Descant @Windy Scamper Oh, duh, Actius thought, we haven't even looked around the city yet. He mentally facehoofed before saying anything. "Oh, right! Yeah, sure. When I was here, I saw this nice little Itailian place, and I think it's only a few blocks away. There are also lots of cool shops I didn't get to look at. Where do you guys want to go?" Other than the theater, he hadn't really seen much at all of the city. It was a big place, and it would probably be more fun to explore with friends. Well, hopefully..
  8. The Cult of Laughter - Manehattan (The Inner City) - Being Dragged The pain of Derpys' wing was so immense that she had stopped shouting and just groaned in agony, too tired to shout and thrash. Her mouth tasted like cotton, and her legs and wings ached from being tied for so long. Her back felt awful from slamming against the ground, and her pride hurt even worse. They had failed. Her ear didn't even flick at the insult directed at her by the stallion. She was so heavily bound that she couldn't see who or where the stallion was. She just turned her head to face him - her eyesight isn't the best, so she has an improved sense of hearing, letting her do creepy stuff like looking at you when she can't see. She glared at him through her blindfold, hoping he would be able to feel her rage. She did not have mind manipulation skills, but she wished she did. As she "looked" at him, she thought one thing. I let you live. ((I'm not quite sure if this is something Derpy would do, but in this situation a lot of people/ponies would be upset, right?)) The Cult of Laughter - Manehattan (Somewhere) - The Prison Derpy sat in her prison cell, trying to pray to the Laughing Mare again. Would it work twice? The Cult of Laughter - The Fillydelphia Hideout - The Prophets' Chamber Cranky and the other prophets sat and listened as the Mare told them of Derpys' struggle. Cranky nodded solemnly as she spoke, and when all was finished he stood. "It appears," he said to the Prophets, "that we have sat idly for too long. We haven't had any missions in years, and look what happens when we do have one. We must act! Whitegold is willing to imprison us, as we are them and the rest of the Houses! Let us fight for what we were stand for! For Equestria, that should be ours!" The Prophets cheered. "We shall figure out the details in the morning. You may plan as much as you want through the night. We must get our Mad Prophet back, and we must win this war! To victory!" And, he added silently and sadly to himself, "For Pinkie."
  9. House Everfree (Pretty Much) - The Old Castle Ruins - Lady Fluttershys' Dining Hall Jade looked at the Lady with respect, but also wonder. Was this a test, or did she just deem it unimportant? "Lady Fluttershy, I must ask, what do these words mean? I have no knowledge of the language of Volshiin, and did not know it existed until you mentioned it just now." She did not want to wander into a trap and utter a phrase that would kill her, although she did trust the Lady not to do that to her, at least not yet. "And," she added somewhat sheepishly, "I do not have a clock, and even if I find one, I can barely read them." She was an educated pony for the situation she was in, but her family hadn't owned a clock since the flood of Ponyville, and even when they did have one, Jade was only two and was still just learning. "If you will tell me how to identify midnight, I think I can manage, though." Truthfully, she wasn't sure she even remembered what a clock looked like. (OOC: @Higurashi, if you don't want to come up with a meaning for the phrase, you can just say Jade will find out when she says it or something like that)
  10. @Descant @Windy Scamper "Nice to meet you too, Encore, and you Silent," Actius said before looking off into the distance for a minute. What did the city have in store? He couldn't help but wonder. "So, do you guys want to maybe have a look around? I'm kind of curious to see where everypony's going." They were slowly being pushed by the crowd, but to where he was unsure.
  11. The Cult of Laughter - Just Outside Manehattan - Being Dragged To Manehattan Derpy gritted her teeth as the soldiers tied her wings and legs behind her back, and her jaws were soon pried open again to insert a cloth between her teeth so she could not scream or yell. She glared at the pony in front of her as much as her eyes would permit before the blindfold was put over them. She was dragged in the dirt, thrashing and shouting all the way. Her cries, however, were heard through the cloth as mutters of "chpchk, chpchk, chpchk, chpchk, chpchk," repeated over and over with increasing volume. As she struggled, she occasionally moved with such force that she was thrown into the air, then thudded on the ground, much paining her wounded wing. This annoyed the soldier, and he opened his mouth, releasing his hold on Derpy. He called another soldier, who, from what Derpy heard, was a unicorn. The unicorn summoned something, and Derpy soon afterwards felt chains being tied around her. Fully and utterly bound, she was levitated by the unicorn towards wherever they were being taken, her chants of "chpchk" growing into full-blown shrieks.
  12. @Windy Scamper @Descant "Ah," Actius said to the stallion. "Thanks for the info." Suddenly a notepad was levitated before him. It read, Would you like to join us? He looked at the mare, then it hit him - she was a mute. So that's why she wasn't talking. "Sure, why not?" he said nonchalantly. "I'm Actius, by the way. What are your names?" Oh wait, he thought, was that rude? I've never met a mute pony before. Maybe that's irritating, being asked a question. What would- NO. You're not doing that this early, Act. You're not risking messing things up, at least not yet.
  13. @Descant @Windy Scamper Actius had a coffee to wake him up a little after getting up so early, then trotted out of the train. There were quite a few other ponies heading out as well, and he wondered if he should talk to them. I might as well make some friends on this trip, he thought. It wouldn't be very fun to do everything by myself. As he was about to say hi to some of them, he noticed that the mare he had seen earlier was still speaking with that unicorn who had bumped into her. But the strange thing was, she wasn't speaking, she was motioning. Wow, she must be really shy. Actius walked up to them and tried to help the poor pony out. "Hey," he said, trying to start a conversation, "sorry to interrupt, but do either of you know if there's supposed to be a tour guide or something?"
  14. The Cult of Laughter - The Fillydelphia Hideout - The Chamber of the Prophets Tondrak wasn't sure of his opinion concerning the laughting mare's realm. He would need to see it to believe such a realm. It seemed as if she truly hated her realm. "The twins may hold the key but someone still needs to guide them on how to use it. But laughting mare my last item is in Canterlot. There is a possibility that i will meet this Twilight responsible for your death. What do you think of that?" The Mare was straining somewhat to keep contact with Tondrak, what with her currently attempting to save Derpy and her companions in Manehattan, but this seemed more important at the moment. She sighed a little, and slowly the dome began to drop. "I think," she said, "Twilight deserves this fate. Your offer and attitude suggest that you think I am great. Your words hold wisdom, and I accept - get your item before the deaths. Derpy and her comrades are in the city, and them I pity Go now and be fast, for forever the Mad Prophet will not last. If you wish to get your crown, do it yourself, not dragging others around." Then, as she started to leave, she added, "If you succeed, something from you I need, not just me freed, but something to satisfy my greed." "As you wish, it should be easier for me to find it since i can sence it's pressence, but their is still the issue of getting in the city without them noticing my missing skin, what should i do about this?" Pinkie just stared at him. Well, her eye sockets at least. Finally the Mare spoke. "Don't you fret, there shall be planning time yet. For now the trio needs you fighting, standing tall, outside the city walls." She sent images to his mind of the location of "the trio" and then departed. (OOC: Not controlling Tondrak, me and discorded planned it in a PM)
  15. The Cult of Laughter - Just Outside the Manehattan City Dome The dome dropped, and Derpy hoped that the unicorns would take a while to remove it. "If we go to the Fillydelphia Hideout," she said, "they'll know where it is. Let's throw them off course! Wind, you carry...Lilo! No, wait, Lila!" She giggled. "Lilo is my doggy. Anyways, let's go!" She took to the skies, flying as fast ad her damaged wing would let her. She would have asked Lila to heal the wing, but Lila was having a similar problem. Much worse, actually. It eventually started to get to Derpy, too. Her wing was extra sore, and it was starting to cramp up. Oh no.. she thought. Her wing snapped shut, and she spiraled towards the ground. Slowing her progress with her other wing slightly, she plummeted towards the ground. The earth hurtled towards her at an alarming rate. She crashed on the rocky ground, cutting her skin. Dirt entered her wounds and she cried a bit. Sitting up, Derpy ate a muffin to help regain her strength and hoped Lila and Wind weren't too far behind.
  16. Actius noticed a pretty mare smile at him. She was kind of cute. He smiled in return and nodded. "Howdy," he said in a friendly manner. When the train approached, he levitated his now somewhat battered bags and handed his ticket to the ticket pony. When he came in, the mare who had smiled at him earlier was bumped into by a lavender unicorn stallion. She got up and pointed to a sign. Was she mute, or just being shy? He decided not to ask and walked by the pair. "'Scuse me." He also noticed a small, vibrant green mare who was looking about curiously. Huh. Will there be more beautiful mares on this train? he thought to himself. Actius soon found his room and, taking off his scarf and hat, put his suitcases on his bed, then tried to find wherever breakfast was being served. (OOC: No clue what rooms are taken. Oh, and by the way, if anyone wants to talk to Actius, now would be a good time)
  17. House Everfree (Maybe?) - The Royal Castle Ruins - Lady Fluttershys' Dining Hall Jades' eyes widened a considerably large amount when the Lady spoke of her being a personal student. "It-It would be an honor, My Lady. What is the pledge you require?" She tried very hard not to show her enthusiasm, although it did peek through her sorrow a bit. She still didn't smile, though. Trying not to pay attention to the...awkward...situation the Lady was putting the stag in, Jade looked around the room and tried to identify various types of plant life. The Cult of Laughter - Soaring Above Manehattan As Derpy flew, she noticed the dome put around the city and the tiny dart speeding towards her. Unsure of what to do, she prayed to the Laughing Mare. In hushed chants, the Laughing Mares' presence grew stronger and stronger, until she was very, very close to the mortal realm. The dome became blood red and emitted an eerie glow. The dome rose somewhat, but only slightly, just enough for a pony to slip through. The dart flew with immense speed, and it hit Derpy in the wing. The pain was horrid, and she looked angrily to where the projectile had come from. She spotted the pony who had fired it, a unicorn stallion who looked very tired. Derpy came at him very fast at first, but soon the injury to her wing took effect. She cried out in pain and glared at the unicorn, a fire in her eyes. She lunged, once again, this time folding her wings and going in a straight dive. She knocked into his horn and gave him a whack, not hurting him too much, before seeing that the dome was slowly lowering. She heard the Mares' voice, sighing slightly in the effort to keep up the dome. "LILA! WIND!" Derpy called. "GET OUT! FOLLOW MY LEAD!" Then she flew, in the same manner as she had attacked the stallion with, towards the opening with a raging battle cry: "FOR THE MUFFINS!!" (OOC: If this seems too OP, let me know. BTW, if you want @MagicalStarRain, you can have Derpy, Wind, and Lila get caught)
  18. Actius ran through the train station at top speed, jumping over miscellaneous luggage, sweating and panting all the way. His horn glowed as he used magic to drag his bags rather unceremoniously behind him. "I'm gonna' miss it! Why am I always so late for stuff?" He arrived at the tracks ten minutes behind schedule. "No! Man, this would've been so nice!" His gaze wandered and happened to fall on a board with the train arrival and departure times on it. Apparently, he had been wrong. He was two hours early. Well, he thought to himself, I'm two hours early. Why did I have to be so early? He leaned up against a stone support column in the station and awaited the Friendship Express. While he stood there, Actius wondered why the ride was so cheap. It was a luxury train with all sorts of amazement aboard, and it cost less than the taxi to the Buffalo station. When he thought about the wonders the train held, he started to ponder what he wanted to do. The tour of this town sounds pretty fun, and I've only been here a day or two, so I didn't get to explore much. Eh, why the hay not? Once I get settled into my room, whichever one that is, I'll go. Well, if it's still going on by the time I unpack my stupid, overstuffed bags...
  19. The Cult of Laughter - Manehattan (The Inner City) - Somewhere In The Streets Derpy and the other cult mares had been through a few shops and found no crowns. Manehattans' guard was probably up by now, and maybe they had heard of the Cults' plan. Aw, Derpy thought, why do they have to be such cupcakes? She darted out of the shop they were currently in and jetted up into the skies, hoping the others would follow her example. She flew away from the city, but not towards the Cult, in an attempt to throw Whitegold off their track. We could message some of the, uh, ... ponies! Some of the ponies in the Cult in Manehattan to find the crown, and we could always find Tondraks' other magic thingy. Energetic from the flight through the city, Derpy flapped away into the blood red sunset, inhaling the scent of rotting flesh and decay. The Cult of Laughter - The Fillydelphia Hideout - The Prophets' Chamber Pinkie Pies' body moved somewhat, and it looked as though it was crying, now embodied by the Mare. "It is desolate and barren, void of all life," said she in a cold, distant, eerie voice that echoed through the chamber. "Contacting my followers is a strife. It is torture with no end, a world that could leave even me dead. It is impossibly hot and impossibly cold, but most of what it contains cannot be told." Her voice shook somewhat when she spoke. Then she told Tondrak, "If it is me you wish to free, I'm afraid it is the duo that holds the key." She leaned forward so Pinkies' nose was very close to Tondraks'. Then she withdrew, Pinkies' lifeless carcass appeared once again lifeless, and all was silent.
  20. (OOC: Wow, you guys just love posting while I'm out) The Cult of Laughter - The Manehattan Inner City - Interrogation Room #6 Derpy looked at the interviewer. He wasn't buying it. She looked at the girls. They were bored. Time for plan B. Yay. "Plan B on the count of pi," she whispered. "One...two...three...PI!" She yelled. Swiftly she pulled a dagger out from the folds of her dress and cut off her blindfold, then hit the stallion with several blows in quick succession, which would wound him terribly if not kill him. She discarded her dress and bolted towards the door. She used her wing blades in her bag to smash the door down, and then rammed into ten more guards, knocking them to the floor. Flying at top speed out of the place, she headed to town. Now this is the fun way to do a mission! (OOC: @MagicalStarRain @Flamey : I'll PM you guys about plan B when I have the time, ok?) The Cult of Laughter - The Fillydelphia Hideout - The Prophets' Chamber Pinkies' corpse stirred, and it spoke, the Laughing Mare controlling it, but it only moved its' lips. "Do not go to aid the Mad Prophet - we shall see if from this she profits." With that, Pinkie Pies' mouth closed, and Crankys' face assumed a frown. "Fine." he said. "You are dismissed, Prophet Tondrak. Good day." He turned and exited the chamber. House Everfree (Maybe?) - The Castle Thingy - The Dining Hall Jade was shocked by the Ladys' offer for dinner, or command really, and bowed her head slightly. "Thank you." She turned and headed into the dining hall after Fluttershy, and sat two seats down from her at the table. She noted the pose Lady Fluttershy took when sitting, and noted the Ponyman [that's all I got for puns, sorry] posture. Her father had gone to college before the war, and he had taught Jade some things about history, and this happened to be one of those things. Her father often quoted inspirational Latin phrases, and it reminded her of her dad. A pang of sadness came, but she tried to hide her feelings and refrain from slumping her shoulders.
  21. @MagicalStarRain @Sir Flame of Dancerville @Marathon The Cult of Laughter - Manehattan (The Inner City) - Some Raindom Inquiry Room Derpy dabbed her eyes with a handkerchief in a ladylike manner. She hugged and patted Lila, saying, "There, there." She sniffed. "The nice officer's not gonna' hurt us, darlin's, don't you fret." *sniffle sniff* "Wh-what...what do ya' wanna' know? I wasn't there when," *sob* "when poor little Light here got..." *sniff* "Oh, heavens!" She started crying quite a bit. After a little while, still congratulating herself that she hadn't messed up her acting yet, she said, "I'm sorry, officer. Please continue." The Cult of Laughter - The Fillydelphia Hideout - The Prophets' Chamber When Tondrak posed his question, Cranky grinned a bit. "Well," he said after a serious fit of coughing, "I may have something for you to do. You are aware of Prophet Derpy and some others questing for your crown? I think they may need a visit from their uncle." His grin grew broader. "You'll need this." Cranky tossed a fake beard to Tondrak. "We'll get you a carriage to take you. Just say you're their Uncle who's caught up with them. You know more than anyone what your crown looks like, so why don't you accompany those girls? If there's any bloody scene, they were probably involved, so just ask around and you'll probably find them." This was not a suggestion, is was an assignment. "Pack some things. You're going to Manehattan!"
  22. The Cult of Laughter - The Manehattan Undercity - The Gate Derpy screamed in horror. It was a really convincing one, too - she had seen enough scary movies to mimic a good scream. "Light!" she shouted, using Winds' fake name. "This is horrible! What should we do?" She knelt down beside Wind and started murmuring, "You'll be fine, you'll be fine, you'll be fine -nice one!- you'll be fine... " She looked at the guards. "Don't just stand there! Get help! A doctor! Somepony! And tell those archers to stop shooting! Oh, the poor thing..." and she went back to murmuring. "If they find us out," she whispered in a hushed tone, using her normal voice, "then how 'bout we fly over the city, ransack all the shops until we find the crown, take some ponies, eat some muffins, fly off until they lose us, eat some more muffins, then go back to the hideout. 'Kay?" She directed her next few sentences rather loudly at the guards. "Stop waiting around! Get some help! What are you, a cupcake? GO!" She was hoping they would go away quickly so she could review the plan more with Lila and Blood Wind, and an insult like that was sure to make them leave. After all, cupcakes are just stuffy muffins, and no one likes stuffy muffins. They taste funny.
  23. @Higurashi Drifting (Hopefully In House Everfree Soon) - The Everfree Forest - The Castle Ruins Jade was a little shocked by the cruelty of Lady Fluttershy, but not that shocked - it must do things to the mind, being in the forest for so long. She thought she remembered being in Ponyville when she was very little, seeing Fluttershy heal a wounded bunny. That certainly didn't look like the Fluttershy in front of her, who, while beautiful, was quite beastlike in a way. Bowing her head slightly in respect, Jade spoke in a calm yet determined tone. "Lady Fluttershy, I have come here to join House Everfree. Evergreen showed me the way here, which I am grateful for, and Sand," she paused and looked back at him. "...tagged along. My name is Jade. If I appear melancholy, it is because I am right now and I have reason to be. If you are wondering why I want to join the House of Everfree, it's because..." She couldn't really describe it. Why had she come? There was only one way to really answer that. "It takes some explaining, but I'll try my best." She explained how she had gotten her cutie mark. She had drawn an orchid because she felt somehow drawn to it, like she shared a connection with it. After that, she rarely got outside growing up, and she longed more than anything to go out. When her parents died, she knew she couldn't stay. She automatically chose to go to House Everfree. When she approached the forest, she could sense everything breathing in unison, as one big organism. "I don't know if there is anything else can convince you, but if I am not helping the house, I don't know what else I can do." She had vowed to herself to avenge her mothers' death and more or less destroy the Cult, but she was certain she couldn't do that alone. "That is all I have to tell you, unless you want to inspect my belongings." @ MagicalStarRain @Sir Flame of Dancerville The Cult of Laughter - The Manehattan Undercity - The Gate "Now why'd ya do that?" Derpy asked the guard who had slapped the muffin-loving guard. "I worked very hard on those muffins! Are ya sure ya won't eat one?" She held out pumpkin muffins for each of them on her wing, trying in turn to distract them, because she knew what Wind would do.
  24. The Cult of Laughter - The Manehattan Undercity - The Gate Startled by the sudden outburst, a few crumbs fell from Derpys' mouth as her jaw dropped slightly. She then said, "Well, we woulda' paid th' entrance fee, if you'd've told us how much it costs!" Derpy looked at him confusedly for a minute. She wasn't happy with this guy. He didn't seem nice. When he didn't bother to tell her the price still, probably trying to see how much money she would offer, she took fifty bits out of her money pouch and dropped them at the hooves of the rude guard. "That enough?" What more could he possibly- she turned her gaze to the other stallion who was staring hungrily at the muffins in her basket. Ohhh... Feeling very proud of her new idea, Derpy stepped up to the pony. "Sir, ya' looks like yer hungrier than a horse! Would ya' like to try a muffin?" She said the last word before taking a bite of a cherry-walnut muffin, its' delicious aroma blowing in the wind towards the guard. Derpy may not have very good negotiating skills, but she sure knows how to bake an outstanding muffin.
