Mane 6: Elements of Harmony Premium Shadowbox
mitcheb0219 replied to mitcheb0219's topic in Visual Fan Art
So far, our price list ranges from $55 - $70 depending on the complexity of each box. The one shown here will be at least $200 as it's a massive box in comparison and takes a ton more materials/time to construct. -
Sorry for the oversized photo, but it's the best way to show how this thing looks. This is the fruit of several days of labor split between my wife and I. We're building an inventory of shadowboxes to bring to Bronycon and this is one of the "Premium" boxes we're going to build. I hope ya'll like it, let me know what you think.

Like all my others, this one is cut from card stock paper and layered into a deep frame. Crysalis was a proper challenge with all of her small details (I'm looking at highlights and holes) Hope you like! Source http://the-paper-pony.deviantart.com/art/Available-Queen-Chrysalis-Shadowbox-354855870

I bet ya'll are sick are seeing these by now This was a beast to do (mostly the turntable) but nowhere near as big a headache as some of the others I've done. And who doesn't love the princess of WUBS.

Completely cut and glued from card stock using an X-Acto blade. Celestia here was one big big challenge. It took the better part of 6 hours to put this together. All in all, I'm very pleased with how she came out and she makes one shiny wall decoration. Let me know what ya'll think!
-
Thank oyu ;; I'm only sad that she has to come off my wall in a day or two when I ship her out with the others =-( She looks good up there

This one was commissioned by a user on deviantArt. having only done sleeping ponies up until now, i was a bit nervous to take on a wide awake Princess Luna. I'm happy with how it came overall, I couldn't believe that such a thing as glittery card stock existed. tcha Hope ya'll like it =)

I had to pick an odd framerate in order to keep the music in rhythm. It's animated at 22.5 frames/second, each measure of the song (every 4 beats) is 36 frames, I did this because 36 is evenly divisible by 4 (beats per measure) and every measure is 1.6 seconds long (150 beats per minute) I punched that all into my math machine to figure out how to keep it in time.

Thank you! I used Adobe Flash CS6 to animate it from start to finish. Sketched out rough ideas for movement and timing and then animated it using the puppets provided by Flamingo 1986 and his Double Rainboom Project.

http://eeglfethr.deviantart.com/#/d5rdtqj This took quite a while to finish, but I'm happy with how it came out. This was mde using the puppet rigs provided by Flamingo1986's DoubleRainboom Project. Let me know what ya'll think

It's unusual for me to ever finish something in the middle of the day . But here is a card stock cutout of the Cutie Mark Crusaders. Never done multiple ponies in the same frame, that presented it's own set of challenges. Hope ya'll like it =)

This is part of a bigger animation that I'm currently working on. I'll be posting back once the full thing is done, but I have this up as a teaser for now This was made using the puppet rigs provided on Double Rainboom's site. Hope ya'll enjoy

Thats why I use Dropbox and Autosave, nothing hurts more than taking a punch to the productivity when your programs decide to get tempermental

[Animated] Derpy and the Elusive Muffin (+ Screensaver)
mitcheb0219 posted a topic in Visual Fan Art
Well here it is, it took some time to do but I think I'm getting better at Flash. I just had to get over the holidays so I could find the time to actually get this finished. http://fav.me/d5pn31t Thank you for taking the time to look! -
Just a flight cycle I put together that's part of another screensaver I'm currently working on. Now that I have time after the holidays. Feel free to use the .gif however you like Hope ya'll have a great New Years!

*phew* This took some work, but here it is, finished from the story board I posted here sometime ago. This will be available for download as a screensaver soon, or if you want it now, you can make it into one using InstantStorm. Every element in this animation was drawn by me. I used references of course, but nothing was puppeted without first being drawn and vectored by hand. Hope you enjoy! Any/All feedback is appreciated. Thanks everyone! http://eeglfethr.deviantart.com/art/Pinkie-Tries-to-Break-Your-Monitor-343114436

yea, I took the afternoon and drew this all up in Photoshop. I'm gonna be moving between Illustrator (for vectors) and Flash (for the animation) to get it all animated.
-
It's the same expression that Pinkamena has when she twitches in Party of One, I just figured the expression fit this situation so nicely =P I'm also gonna add a small drool trail on the camera lens when she slides down.
-
Those are all very impressive. I imagine it takes quite a bit of time to get all of those beads in place. Keep it up, would love to see more of these =)

*paws at the screen in vain attempts to acquire cupcakes* Seriously those look equal parts delicious and cute. I would love some strawberry yogurt cupcakes. [/nawm]

Having never done up a storyboard before, this is the result. I plan to make this a screensaver wherein Pinkie notices that pesky 4th wall, and tries to jump out of your monitor. I can't wait to get started on animating it all. It will take a while. Please feel free to comment/critique.

omg lol, no, but this is so close it's almost uncanny. I was listening to a song called Baby Got Flank by "I Bring Da LULZ" and misheard lyrics that made this image pop into my head. However, this tank vid is pretty awesome, and even moreso that Rarity's at the wheel

Yeah I understand completely about the thigh. I've noticed that it seems to favor whatever "piece" of the body is closer to the camera (either the flank or the curve of the belly) FiM anatomy is deceptively simple, not hard to do, but easy to get wrong. The last two poses for Daiquiri look pretty spot on, I can't really offer any critiques on them. The improvement is obvious =)

I think Trixie managed to pick up a few more fans over the weekend. This drawing is super cute. The mouth I'm sure was tricky since it shares a line with bottom of the muzzle. All in all, very well done and I like what you did with her hair
