I noticed! ...Granted, it took me a long time. I've been gone for long periods myself. xD

  3. @@Artemis, You know I'm free for a hug any time you want to! Just got to get on a plane xD As for who I want to hug, I'm one of those people who will just give them out because I can. According to a lot of my friends I give good hugs, something I believe to be a positive personal trait
  4. Oh so much relevance! Not lie, that picture actually made me laugh way more than perhaps it should have, best thing I've seen all day!
  5. This is probably coming at a bad time considering the other quite recent resignations of the team but it's something that's going to have to happen. Unfortunately in the recent months my time has been stretched and stretched to the point where everything is in a constant rush, my work is giving me more and more to do and my own projects and social life is suffering due to this. I'm becoming irritable and lethargic and there's a sheer lack of motivation to do anything. I don't have time for my other hobbies anymore and it's getting on my nerves I'm having to turn down nights out because of a lack of time. Becoming a moderator fell at an awkward time to start with, I had recently started dating my girlfriend and I was a full time job at the company I had previously done work experience for. Even the whole Brony aspect was still fairly new to me and then I was suddenly asked to become a moderator for a massive forum. However after a few weeks I felt I'd managed to settle in properly and just got on with it. I'd actually never had to opportunity to be a moderator on any forum and I have to give a huge thank you to the other moderators and admins who helped me get to grips with the system, I've learned so much on how to deal with all manner of things, even from just hearing about some situations are dealt with. The team is full of awesome people, none of them have a bad bone in them and they all have hearts of gold. It's been a good run and for my first moderating experience, it's been a blast. However there's no point in me staying if I'm not doing anything, it's just not fair on the rest of the team. In the last month or so I've come online and had to leave 5 minutes later due to other affairs. I want to do something but I'm either dragged away or I can't get on in the first place. So therefore it's with some regret that I'm handing in the old resignation form. As much as I've enjoyed it I think it's fair that I'm going to prioritise my friends and life over a forum, I think many will agree with that. It's no-ones fault but my own for taking on more than I could handle. Other things are going to be shelved as well, it's just unfortunate that my moderating duties are included in those. I'm probably not leaving the forums entirely but my interaction will be very limited. I never really posted much anyway and spent most of my time reading rather than posting but even so my time being spent on the forum in general is having to be cut down. Again I am thankful for the experience and the opportunity to help the community. I think that the team deserves more thanks than they are given, as someone who has seen what happens behind the scenes they do a lot more than people realise. So yeah...thanks for the ride guys but it's time that I left. Plus as I'm sure many people know, the girlfriend/wife always gets priority . It's going to be weird not having all those extra little buttons on my screen anymore. Cheers! Aaramus
  6. Would just like to point as that the earlier suggestion of Sniper Elite Zombie Army is not worth your time or money. Its a generic wave based game with absolutely no innovation or anything that makes it stand out on it's own, you're actually better off with the Zombie modes in CoD. Dead Space, Walking Dead and Left for Dead are probably your best options. Also the first two Dead Rising games were good as well (ignore the new one that's coming out, they've wrecked it). It's actually on it's way to PC soon, something I am most pleased about!

MASSIVE 40K FAN INCOMING! I've been playing 40k since I was 14 so I reckon thats about 6 years now. I' currently have a 2000pt Space Marine army, 1500pt Tryanid army and I'm 1600pts into my new Imperial Guard. I spent more of my time painting and modelling rather than the game itself but even so I get together with a group of friends to continue our epic campaign! So far my Lord Commissar hasn't had to execute anyone from his Veteran squad....yet. Not entirely sure why 6th ed is getting so much flak for, I think it has some really interesting additions especially with the detachments rule and the new shooting rules. 5th certainly created a fantastic foundation of the core gameplay elements but I think 6th has refined it a little bit. Also just bought the new Space Marines codex, very interested in the new Chapter Tactics. My next army will be a revamp of my Space Marines as I'm going to create an entirely new chapter and heavily uniform them to a new style.
  8. Buy an island then install a race track around the outside so my girlfriend and I can race each other in our preferred choice of automotive! She would like and Audi R8 and I'd like the new Jaguar F-Type. Other than that it would most go to my family to help them out if they need it, then to cancer research charities.
  9. This is easy! Obvious choices incoming! 1. A TARDIS, because that would be the best thing ever. 2. My own island where I can take all my friends and relatives. 3. Everyone in the world has an increase in their common sense, because nobody has any at the moment, especially those in power.
  10. At first I would be confused as to how that letter was sent through the multiverse and then the following would happen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jpgy21r_dRE Seriously it would be kinda awesome and much correspondence would occur!
  11. @, I have merged your thread with the already existing "Favourite Video Game" character thread. When making new threads please make sure to use the search function to see if one already exists.
  12. I'm not a massive racing game player but I'll delve into them now and again especially when it's at an arcade. As a fan of Formula One I quite enjoy playing those games and actually they're quite good. They're not exactly innovative but the career mode is quite fun and the actually driving mechanics are solid and feel good. I also used to play a ton of Wipeout on the Playstation and some F-Zero on the SNES.
  13. Essentially yes, they practically serve the same purpose. People like to brohoof posts that they agree with of if they find particularly funny or interesting, plus it's cool to have one of you're one posts brohooved.
  14. Depends how far they want to take the story, or how long interest remains high enough for them to be able to keep selling the brand. I could see generation 4 lasting around 7ish seasons. It also depends if they reach a point where they can't make any progress with the characters. Now that we have Twilight as an alicorn the writers are going to have to adapt to that and make sure they can keep the story going without running into a brick wall.
  15. Hello and welcome to MLP Forums Wynn. You don't worry, pretty much everyone on here is friendly and you'll have a great time . If you have any issues or questions feel free to ask away!
  16. Welcome to the forum Serina, hopefully you'll you have a great time here and we'll see you around If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask.
  17. You need to add an alternative to phase 9: "Sorry guys Hasbro decided to get all copyright on our project so we've been forced to cease and desist, we were only a week away from release too!" Fan projects of any sort require a lot of free time, something people don't have a lot of these days. These are "fan" projects afterall, they're not coming from full time games developers for example.
  18. I take my tea like anyone else should. Just normal hot tea, milk and no sugar, using PG, Tetley or Yorkshire tea bags! Not too much milk otherwise it just doesn't taste right. Then of course you have a wide selection of perfectly matching biscuits to go with proper tea. There is the classic digestive or rich tea biscuit, both are good but fairly plain. You could then have, chocolate digestives, hobnobs, ginger nuts, nice biscuits or even malted milks. Or if you want to be a little more adventurous, custard creams, bourbons or the legendary Jammie Dodger! There are many more to choose from your local shop in which to partake in drinking tea. Pip bloody pip, one is drinking proper tea!
  19. Possibly the best suggestion, I think I may have to use that in the future (way into the future!). I think I would wait until they learn if from their school and then go over it when them afterwards, making sure they understand the dangers and the complications of it.
  20. I have 100% adopted Kinniks amazing version of Strike! (as long as thats ok with you), its just that awesome xD

haha. Anyways, kenniks art is adorbs. I don't blame you for adopting XD

  21. I think a message from the Mailmare would be kinda awesome, people like their birthdays to be recognised and even something cute like a pony bursting from a birthday present would go down well. I'm not sure how this would be implemented and it may be too complicated but I wonder if you could have a birthday related badge of sorts in place of the users current one for the day? So rather than having a Dragon badge it would change to balloons or something just for the day along with a message of sorts underneath.
  22. Been in a solid relationship for the last 5 months now, its been utterly fantastic so far and I'm just so happy to have someone like her. Despite having some great friends around me prior to the start of my relationship I was started to feel more and more isolated and a bit lonely but I finally managed to pluck up the courage and it's been extremely fun and positive ever since. It's funny as I don't think either of us saw it coming, we had a few outings on our own where other friends had cancelled and we managed to just connect together. She seems very happy and I know I am so all is well and truly good!
  23. So Total War: Rome 2 came out today, so as soon as I have some free time for that I will be spending weeks on that game! As much as I liked Shogun 2 there's something special about the Roman era that makes me want to play it more. There's more variety in the units and factions and the map is larger as well. It would be nice if they fixed the AI issues that have plagued the Total War games as well but I'm looking forward to the larger scale battles and better campaign management. I've also been playing a lot of Skullgirls recently which is an indie fighter game. Fantastic art style with very solid fighting mechanics and the soundtrack is just great. It's very good for beginners as well with an extensive tutorial. It's a lot of fun to play and the impact of the combos feels good! Plus the characters are pretty unique too.
  24. Pretty much just woke up properly from Reading festival, best weekend of my life!

  25. If you don't enjoy the games then don't play them, its really as simple as that. The fact is Activation has found a market and they're catering to it. CoD games have never been innovative, BO2 tried and it seems that Ghosts is trying as well. They're not huge changes but there are some. Both BF and CoD are popular because the other games in the market are not being supported by the consumer, people say they want new and fresh IP's but then go ahead and by the Assassins Creeds and CoDs because they know what they like. You're not going to see story-driven CoDs or BFs because the market doesn't want them. If you're going to complain then complain to the people who keep supporting these games.
