All the Marines, Soldiers and Sailor Ponies in the store was just looking in shock at how much cake was eaten by one pony alone. When Thunder-Dash ran in yelling is what broke their shock. "How about this? We interrogate the changeling POW's . I mean, we have head Guards from Zebrestistan and they specialize in making a changeling talk." a private speaks up. "Yea don't get me wrong, i love to help ponies, mainly foals, that's why i signed up in the first place. But we all just got back this morning from Los Pegasus and Baltimare after the changelings aborted. We don't really want to go into another battle just yet." Mean while Shining Star is downstairs with Ace in the underground hideout reading a few books on Changelings trying to figure out why all this was happening to her. "Ace, you find anything in your books?" she asked

"Well, if that is what your are trying to do, who am i to stand in your way? Tell you what, there is a small MP detachment in SCC. You may not be EMAF anymore (says this while writing something) But they are all yours. Just give them an order and they will follow it to the letter. Tell them to get something done, and they will go to the ends of Equestria to make sure its done better than you can imagine." One of the Zebras finally spoke up and said. "Do not blame yourself. You coming in was not predicted, yes, but we were already under attack by the changeling EMAF Air-Force. So none of this is your fault." At this the two zebras leave the tent

At this as if on cue two zebras walk in the tent. "that POW camp according to the zebras here was not any ordinary pow camp. they seem to specialize in taking in only changeling prisoners. That is why we think you may have accidentally in some way triggered this so called war.

The General looked at the papers then looked at Thunder-Dash. "Major, it is an up most importance that we get all of you together so we can have a mission debriefing. I know that you are not a part of the EMAF anymore, but this entire 'WAR' all started after you all went into that POW camp and i think that you all may have triggered something by mistake entirely."

"Were you the only one that went with this little filly to that POW camp? and your right. the 134th 2nd brigade infantry called in stating that there were civilians in the area. That's when all hell broke loose and the enemy detonated a tactical nuke. How did no-pony realize that there was now a Captain Bright Star among us? Because there was no such Captain. But anyways, did any other ponies go with you to that POW camp and are they around. I need a debriefing."

inside SSC All the MP's were just staring at Rainbow dash at this point Outside the Corporal responded "No, i dosn't, it cost 15,000 bits to build another. And they have already put in the new train into effect. It should make its first stop here tomorrow." A marine General with the hoof patch MP walks over. "Major Dash, may i have a word with you. My name is General Hail-storm. I need to talk to you on how you know a pony that has been dead for twenty years. and don't worry, i have Top Secret Clearance. Tier 5 Top Secret Classified Clearance to be exact. Lets step over to my temp office" he says pointing to a tent.

Wow," a Lance Corporal said, "Something went wrong with the air brakes and it could not slow down, hit a turn going down hill, going way to fast and derailed." he explained. another MP sitting at the table a Sergeant First class then asked the question on all of their minds,"How is it that you know Staff Sergeant Star Major?" inside sugar cube corner. "So how do you suppose we handle these changelings we have as prisoners," a MP was asking another MP. The other MP was not paying any attention though as his focus was on Rainbow-Dash at the counter. "Dude, you listening?" "No, Who is the pony over there, the one with the rainbow colored mane ?" The first MP looks over his shoulder and just back at his friend. "that'ts the pony that we had to search for a few years back. when she was a filly. Get your head in the game and get back on topic"

"He saved my life. If it wasn't for him I would not be standing here. As well as if it was not for me, he would be standing here wearing this rank perhaps. they looked at the file and called over a captain that looked like he was close to retirement. "Yes?" he said. 'The captain then looked at Major Dash. On his uniform he wore the Captain bars and his name plate stated Anderson. his face showing signs of pain from the memory. "Sorry Major, and with all due respect Major, but why do you all want to know about Staff Sergeant Bright Star after twenty years. They didn't even give his the Medal of Honor or anything. they just brought him back home, gave him a twenty one gun salute, and gave his flag to his wife. They did nothing for him. Thats the only reason i still wear this bucking uniform, to give back to him what they could not give!" tears running down his muzzle at this point

"So how is this my father if he died in combat twenty years ago? This is not making any sense. I think we need to talk with my fathers old unit, the 450th MP brigade. Maybe they can tell us something useful. They are back in Ponyville. Come on we need to hurry. That or we can call Ace and Rainbow Dash to have them speak to Lieutenant Colonel Braveheart and see if she knows anything about my father.

Again she from the looks of things was unable to find any official records. Shining Star got her things put back into her saddlebags and told everypony that she was ready when they were. Back in Canterlot a total of three hundred and eighty-nine changelings were captured and placed into the jail cells. In the Hive Chrysilis was Watching as the changelings came back to the hive noting the large number that did not come back. Upon arrival to Canterlot, shining Star noticed the POW changelings being escorted to the jails. "Why did they take them Prisoner Thunder-Dash?"

"I dont believe this that. It can not be. How could she be my mother if i look like a regular filly?!" Shining Star was going all over the conversation she had with Chrysalis. She could not stop playing it all back in her mind. Finally she had enough. "I need to see my parents official records of Active Duty. i think they were called DD-214's they would be back in Canterlot, but im sure if you ask somepony, somepony could get them brought down here. Please." On the surface, RTO's were looking at their radios in utter confusion on the reports of changelings just up and leaving the fight, some getting swarmed and surrendering. "I say again my last, all changelings are evacuating. I think we have them on the run. We have Prisoners Of War, Please advise, i say again, we have POW's, please advise, Charlie Foxtrot two five will be standing by for advisory's; over"

Shining star looked at the ground of the underground tree house. "Can anypony in here tell me about my parents?" Her mind flashing back to that conversation her and the Queen Chrysalis had. "The original Bright Star and Dawn Star were killed in that POW Camp. Your parents were changelings. and this 'WAR' was just to be able to bring you back to the Hive. Deep down you know this is true. Have you seen any other pony eating chocolate on a daily bases? I am your real mother, and your 'mother and father' were your personal guards that were to keep you safe." Shining winced at this memory, but she had hopped that nopony saw this. "I dont remember my parents except for bits and pieces. Please somepony, i need to know" Back at the Hive. "Abort all attacks. If they have to surrender to keep from being killed, then have them surrender. if they surrender a small group of Praetorians will be sent out to rescue them. All we can do now is wait." With this every changeling in the battlefield began retreating. leaving the EMAF dumbfounded. before the order to press on could be issued, the changelings were gone, hiding in another cave

The Queen Walked up to changeling Thunder-Dash and gave him a minor mental zap ​"You insolent fool! How hard is it to follow a simple order from your queen. I said to retreat Los Pegasus, Not take it over!!!!" She then looked at shining star. "Yout will tell the guards to send a message to Los Pegasus." she said to thunder-dash with out looking at him. "Tell them to evacuate Los Pegasus. We have no need for it." she looked at Thunder-dash completely unaware of his disguise, though a drone in the room was not fooled and hissed at him. finally Chrysalis looked at Thunder-Dash and circled him. "Drone, what do you see in this changeling that makes you want to attack him?" "He is not a true changeling my queen!" All the other guards in the room then looked at changeling thunder-dash. "Really?!" her horn glowed green and then zapped away his disguise. At this all the changelings in the room pounced on him. "I will not allow you to take away this filly! Take him to the dungeon, and make sure that he will not be able to use his magic at all." With this the changelings dragged Thunder-Dash away out of the room.

Shining Star wakes up on a clean bed and looks out a window. "Looks like a certain little filly has finally woken up" Shining Star quickly spins around. "Who...Who are you?" she asked to the invisible drone but did not get any reply. "My queen. The filly has woken up, she has been changed, but we still have to wait 24 hours before it becomes permanent. also, the group that was protecting her has fallen for the trap. the drone told the queen. "Perfect. Lets see how long they wander in the caves. maybe they will be in there for the day we need."

"Please...We cant go back...We have no place to go..." a drone said. At the new hive "We have the filly, and this time we are not going to loose her! I want every single guard we have guarding her, we will change her and make sure she stays changed. I just learned that that yellow pegasus can change her back. How ever she will not change back if she remains a changeling for 48 hours."

At this the last thirty changelings that were struck down waved a white flag signaling their surrender. "Please, don't hurt us, we surrender. We surrender. See?See? our little white flag....Is...Is that chocolate?....We give up, please don't kill us" They are now all laying on the ground waving a white flag

One of the Changelings snickered as he saw Thunder-Dash fly into SCC. with in seconds The changelings were storming the SCC and tearing in apart, breaking everything and Everything. With in thirty seconds they managed to find the entrance and started flooding the room. They didn't even bother to fight any-pony in the room. They all communicated with each other telepathically. "Don't wast your time with the ponies. We have a mission and we must complete it." The changelings with in ten seconds of entering the room left with out a trace of ever being in Ponyville again. They even went as far as to clean and repair the SCC and the RTO Communication building. When everything was done. where Shining Star was once sitting was now sitting Apple Bloom and Sweetie Bell with a note on both of their hooves. the note read 'thanks for the trade.' back at the hive. Abandon the Hive. "We are leaving and going to our second Hive. I dont want any changelings or hatching left here." in Baltimare a few changelings were waving the white flag trying to keep from getting shot and/or killed

"Sir, we have confirmed the retreat, and we have a few prisoners." "Good. All the ponies are distracted, just as i planed. All Changelings Attack Ponyville." Chrysalis ordered. Suddenly Soldier ponies started dropping like flies. "Radio Canterlot, Tell them we need ACK!" Changelings poured into Ponyville Immediately taking out the radio transmission operators and their equipment with in seconds. They had one objective. and that was to find the filly. Ponies were running away, but the changelings did not pay any mind to the ponies. the only ponies that they cared about was the EMAF ponies, which were quickly taken out before they knew what hit them. in the first minute the RTO and all equipment was over run, the third minute all the EMAF Ponies were on the ground bound and gagged. The only thing that prevented Canterlot to know about this happening was Ponyville had just reported in and are not due to report in again for another six hours. "Bring out the Filly. I am sure you would not want anything to happen to little Sweetie Bell and Apple Bloom out here" a praetorian yelled. "I am sure that you all would like to make a trade. We are on a very limited time budget. so if you all could hurry up and give us the filly." two drones are holding onto sweetie bell and apple bloom in their magic. Apple Jack was listening to this "Rainbow! Ace! They have mah lil sis. What do we do?!"

The PFC salutes and returns back to the Radio room. in Ponyville Shining Star, after an hour of sitting in the corner, finally finishes the cake and walks over to Rainbow and Ace. She looks at Rainbow and then slowly starts inching closer to her. In the Hive. "My queen, we have figured out what happened. the filly is now a changeling but her pony form is keeping ponies from knowing it. Also the other ponies have this spell that can see through our disguises." the Queen looks at this drone "And this puts the filly in danger?" "No my Queen, we are not sure how this happened but she will appear as she currently is when the spell is used on her." "Very well, we are accelerating our plans, Have the Los Pegasus group and the Baltimare group retreat and have two groups, one from each location 'surrender'" In Canterlot "Phoenix one actual this is phoenix two bravo, are you seeing what i am seeing?; I am and i am not believing it. They are falling back. All units on this NET move up. Advance. move in, move in." "Canterlot Control, this is Foxtrot two-five, be advised enemy changelings are falling back, We are retaking Baltimare and Los Pegasus. I dont believe this." The PFC runs back over to Thunder-Dash. "Sir!, The Changelings!, They are retreating!!!"

Shining Star looked at the cake that Ace gave her. she stopped looking through her saddle bags and slowly started to eat the cake. Back in Canterlot the PFC walks up to Thunder-Dash. "Everything is quite. We just recived word that Whinysota just got retaken and they are starting to rebuild"

Shining Star remained in the corner of the underground hideout. She was dumping out her saddlebags looking for her cloak, tears still running down her muzzle. In Canterlot Luna was sitting on the Throne with Celesta at her side, Celesta still looked confused about what had happened. She was explaining what had happened when Thunder-Dash and his group came in. "I was talking with the Ambassador of Saddlearebia when suddenly i am regaining myself inside a cocoon. Then i am just released. I do not understand." Celesta said. Luna looked at Celestia and replied. "Fear not sister, We will help you understand." The Radios remain broadcasting "This is delta two-five whisky we are seriously out numbered, requesting to pull back, over; Delta two-five whisky this is Foxtrot two November, negative, negative, we need you to hold your current location, we have a semidetached in route to your location at this time; Solid copy Foxtrot two November, Delta two-five Whisky holding position and awaiting enforcement; Overlord, this is Gladiator six, we have a pony down, requesting casevac; Solid Copy Gladiator six, all current avaiable forces are currently engaged at this time, do what you an out" In the Hive, a praetorian approaches the Queen. "My Queen. We still hold a tight hold on Los Pegasus and Manehatten. We need to try and retake other cities." the queen looked at the changeling. "No, we will have them remain fighting in these two places. Make them think we are unable to fight. In two weeks have the Los Pegasus battle group retreat and have only a handful of changelings raise the white flag. This will throw them ponies all for a loop." "yes my Queen"

Shining Star is laying in the corner of the store with Pinkie Pie trying to see what is wrong with her and trying to cheer her up. "She is over here. I dont know what is wrong with her, nothing i do seems to work" "after everything *hic/sob* everything we did, they still die."
