We all know thirst, hunger, disease. We suffer all of this and in the end, we grow old and die. But for one brief moment we shine as shine as the Sun. Because we know this hardships we also know the meaning of happiness.

It all started for me at /b/ when there was no other place to chat about pastel-coloured horses. Then, things began to move forward and Ponychan came to life. I made a bunch of friends there but, as always, we all got split up and I was never able to find any of them again. I went by the name of Raiden-Zero (forgot my tripcode, sorry). Then, the site spawned a bunch of alternate boards (like Everfree) and things changed, so I left the fanbase for a while. Am I the only Ponychan survivor around? I'm almost sure the answer is "NOPE".

Hey, So I was wondering, any of you guys every played as Twitter pony? I used to be in control of https://twitter.com/octaviatreble and man, was it incredible to be a Twitter pony back in the day (bahaha sorry, I'm feeling old today). Then things got weird and everyone started killing off their characters. I kinda forced my Octavia through a wormhole and then she came back like a few months ago and it was all a barren wasteland. So, any twitter ponies around? -

So, I noticed there's a Favourite Fansong thread but I want to know something else besides that: What's the song (or songs) that takes your mind towards the show, your friends in the community and that made an impact in your life? Explain why! Ilysabeth's Fluttershys (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PHhl5VQ0-QQ) This song brought me back into the fandom after I left ponychan due to personal issues. I listen to it every time I'm feeling down or very happy, and in fact it is the song that made me come back to these forums. deathaura's Tugging at the Heartstrings (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uAKaym1gx3I) After I listened to this piece I wrote it down by ear and asked my mother to play it with me (she played Lyra's part in the piano). Around that time my relationship with my mother had been deteriorating to a devastating degree. It was a very bright moment for us, and since then everything started going better between us. TarbyRock's Ballad of Autumn Leaves (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dhfe6uoy6NA) This song turned my life upside down: I was very lonely, and bitter. I chose to write down its tabs and wait until someone would take me, then I'd play and sing this to them. It happened, and for that I'm grateful. At first I thought this post's title was misleading, but afterwards I understood it is totally justified. I remember playing that game once (and only once because it was a resource hog). Can't believe Hasbro blocked other fangames (like Fighting is Magic) in favour of this. But then again, I guess I'll be able to understand why they did so if I play some Hasbro CEO Simulator 3000!
