That really is quite a good drawing i look forward to seeing whatever else you plan on uploading. Also I think you should keep with this style. Every artist has their own style and it makes their works unique.

Alex helped the boy to his feet, Yes this one will do nicely. He appears to have some form of Mars psynergy, but that shock earlier was more Jupiter. Hmmm, Ill have to watch him closely but the Plan is in effect. "Here let me help you with that." Alex said Casting Ply on both himself and the boy. Now we wait. (OOC: for those of you who havent figured it out yet I am using Italics to represent Alex's thoughts)

He turned back to his opponent. "You still live? I will finish you if need be, but..." Alex thought about it. The kid was young yes, but maybe he could be useful. Alex already had a plan formulating in his mind. He bent down to the child and said. "If you give up I will let you live, and I think I know of a way to get the power that was promised us. I certainly dont plan on waiting for later rounds of this tournament..." (OOC: oooooh just had this idea!!! Im gonna run with it we will see how the game master reacts later)

Alex had cast Ice Missile, using a large amount of the water from the lake he rained down countless blades of ice on the soggy masked man. The energy blast knocked several of the missiles away but enough of the missiles pierced the energy to hold his opponent in place. Alex stood over his opponent with grim determination. he raised his hand and cast Diamond Berg. (http://goldensun.wikia.com/wiki/Diamond_Dust_and_Diamond_Berg) Alex raised his head as the shattered shards of his opponent scattered across the plane. "You put up a good fight, but im afraid it wasn't enough." (OOC: sorry but this had to be ended. Its been fun)

The explosion had taken Alex by surprise, in fact it nearly finished him. luckily the explosion had knocked his concentration on the levitation off so he fell straight into the lake. "Ok, now im angry." not taking the time to heal himself Alex lifted both hands lifting the water of the lake up and forward in a tidal wave. As gravity and momentum took their hold he readied another summon and cast it. (OOC:What spell was that you ask? well the Masked Man dosent know so why should you?)

Alex saw his opponent coming but could not dodge the lightning strike, Gritting through the pain he cast Tundra to freeze his opponent in a mountain of ice. not willing to let any damage last long Alex quickly cast Ply on himself, the little fairy healing him as he did so. Alex lifted himself up with psynergy and floated over the lake, stopping and turning towards his frozen opponent, levitating above the center of the lake.

Upon seeing that his opponent was downed he decided that the ground would remain the battlefield. He reappeared several yards away from his opponent, readying his psynergy for a finishing blow. as he stepped forward he called out to his opponent. "Just another step you are my friend, Just another step in my climb to ultimate power."

Alex reappeared, standing on the lake. recognizing the mechanism that held his opponent aloft as similar to the grunts of the shadow clan, he cast tundra, freezing the mechanism. not waiting another moment out, and in danger he disappeared again. He wouldn't let himself be caught out in the open. that blaster was a quick attack and he didn't want to be caught unaware.

seeing his opponent alter his flight pattern mid air Alex expected a retaliation. But upon seeing what appeared to be small flashes of light on his arm, Expecting an attack he erected a thick wall of ice in front of himself. the bullets were blocked by the wall but the sword slash shattered the wall. But Alex was no longer behind the wall, he had warped himself away.

Alex stood up upon hearing his name, Time for some action it would seem. Looking around the field where he had landed. He smirked, the game master had given him a lake, how fun. Alex turned to his opponent and readied his psynergy. "You will permit me to make the first move wont you? after all I am unarmed and you have a sword." Alex didn't wait for a response. He summoned a geyser below his opponent, throwing him 30 feet into the air.

As Rift wandered what must have been the crystal empire, it certainly didn't look like it, He noticed a small white dragon. He had heard that smaller dragons where usually friendly, but he checked the gauntlet on his right foreleg, just to be sure. Rift walked up to the dragon and introduced himself. "Hello there, can you tell me what is going on here, Is this really the crystal empire?"

Alex sat perfectly still on his chair of Ice, the recent explosion barely phasing him, "Ive spent too much time with Proxians" he thought. Mars Adepts were never his favorites but they got the job done when they needed to . Thinking of the Reptilian Proxians and their hometown of Prox reminded him of his own wintery home, one he may never see again. he pushed those thoughts aside, He was here for power, and if he kept focused, he would have it

Alex attention was grabbed by the image that appeared before him. well well well so the games begin. Alex formed a chair out of ice and turned towards the moving images that had appeared. this shall be interesting Alex sat ignoring the swordsman's statements. They made no sense to him anyway.

The reaction that caught Alex's attention wasnt from the man with the pipe, no another champion had noticed it. He smirked, well at least that answers that question Alex knew his prank would lead to reactions but he never expected someone to be able to see the rain cloud, it was made of Psynergy after-all, and only and Adept could see Psynergy. although Alex doubted that the masked man could use psynergy, he now knew that he was dealing with more then just raw strength. There were other mental abilities in the room that had to be accounted for.

Alex grew tired of watching and decided to have a little fun. noticing that another champion was smoking a pipe he chuckled, with a small twitch of his hand, hidden by the folds of his cloak, he summoned a small rain cloud above the pipe, extinguishing it. He did enjoy a good prank, but he wanted to see the champions reaction.

Im not complaining but up here in minnesota its nice out, I dont know the actual temperature but for december its like a early fall day.

A crash gave rise to a new arrival. A pegasus??? You have got to be kidding me. was Alex's thought. although now that he thought about it most of the champions around him didn't seem to be related to any specific element. the red and blue, upside down did not look to be Mercury (water) or Mars (Fire) and that light blue new arrival didn't have the purple or blond hair of Jupiter (Wind) and no one held the gold color of Venus (Earth) though there was a masked man hiding in the shadows that reminded him of his previous employers. although he was much better at masking his presence. in fact Alex only barely noticed him before he shrank into the shadows.

Alex's eyes were drawn to a small round creature with a mask. it looked slightly like a djinn, but he could tell by size, shape, and the fact that it held a sword it was not an elemental from his world. As his eyes wandered over the rest of the competitors he noticed that a tall green clad warrior stood facing a small, upside down creature that seemed to be hanging from a string attached to the ceiling. He knew he should make allies quickly but he did not have enough information to start a conversation with any of his competitors.

Seeing that the female unicorn was alright Rift stood up and collected himself. He turned and walked away. All he knew is that he was sent here for a reason, and under normal circumstances that would be to seal a breach of the dimensions, but he could tell this was anything but a routine job. and he preferred it to be over soon.

the blue haired adept stepped through the portal that had appeared before him and into a dark room. Several of his apparent competitors had already assembled but none were talking. Except a woman and an old man. Alex set his face with feigned uninterest, walked briskly into the room and situated himself where he could observe everyone. After all you cannot manipulate people to do your will unless you know them.

A crack appears in space, widening. it appears to split Harp in half as it does. A jet black pony steps through, turning back to his entrance he notices Harp. "Oh I'm soooo sorry!" with a quick snap his purple talons retract into the metal gauntlet on his right foreleg, snapping the crack shut and leaving Harp completely unharmed. "I am so sorry. I know that a Void Rift cannot be harmful to any living creature but im sure it was uncomfortable." he looks around to the rest of the group. "Im Rift, sooo, whats the story?"

While I do not have an OC that really fits with the Mane 6 you have my permission to add Rift in (even for a short Cameo) http://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/rift-r2062?do=edit like I said, Rift may not fit into the 6 slots you have presented but its up to you Also this looks like a good story, I cant wait to read it, it has inspired me to get back into my fic.

"Yes your highness" was Rift's response as the deep purple alicorn commanded him on his next mission. It would be a tough one she said, but that is why she was sending Rift, one of the youngest and fastest learning void rangers. He bowed and turned from the princess. despite her being Celestia's sister the time in the Void had warped the alicorn. As Rift left the grand hall he turned to the guards and bid them farewell. He was well known and well liked among the void clan but his passion had always been adventure, now he was to travel to the crystal empire, Equestria. He had been there before but time passes differently in the void. The last time he was there he watched Discord turn back to stone beneath the onslaught of the Elements of Harmony. His musings were interrupted by arriving at the Portal Room. Portals into other dimensions were kept well guarded so it was only through the princesses command that the Guardian let him pass and opened the portal to the Crystal Empire. He stepped through, and immediatly fell on his face, he had tripped over a young mare. "oh sorry"

I can see myself walking in the grey area. My powers would either be hydro-kinesis or the ability to tear the reality of this world and step into the void beyond. but either way I think i could go either hero or villan. I would probably end up as the kind of hero who dosent follow the Hero Rule of no killing. Tearing into someone with Void-Claws usually dosent end with them being alright
