  1. That is hilarious and awesome on so many levels, I would totally join in. Also, they don't hold "Gay and proud" conventions with gay themed art and music. But they do hold Brony conventions with sweet Brony art and music.
  2. What's wrong with talking freely about being a Brony? We aren't running around the streets screaming it, we're spending time with fellow Bronies and talking about the show or other things in the fandom.
  3. Anything particular you carry in your bag or on your keychain? Anything special about the hat, like does it have a design? What colour are they? It IS a pretty boss shirt if I do say so myself. I never really wear button down shirts myself, but I do like how some of them look. I prefer normal t-shirts and stuff, because I usually wear a hoodie covering them.
  4. Bronies that are open about being bronies are actually the least weird ones. Also, having sex with plushies or having a fetish for ponies is frowned upon by the majority of the fandom. And nothing of that sort happens at cons. There may be some weird cosplayers, but they're easy to avoid or ignore if you dislike them.
  5. Laughing REALLY hard at everypony who believed that the mayan calender could predict the sun burning out. Considering the fact that they didn't account for leapdays, the world technically should have ended around 7 years ago if their calender was right.
  6. No, you definitely said that. That sir was just posted on the internet. Now it will be everywhere. You are DOOMED. DOOMED I TELL YOU! Nobutseriously I'll try to forget you said that. For some reason I getting a feel that you might just possibly like Doctor Who. Just a guess. Dang, It takes some brain power to get used to reading time in binary. I usually prefer just normal numbers or analog clocks. I see, well at least they figured out you didn't really need them before they damaged your eyes, and then you actually would have needed them. Hmm, kind of funny how that would work out actually. Anyway, I bet you eagerly await not having to have them at all anymore.
  7. Fedoras sure seem to be a popular piece of headwear on this forum. What's the ring like, any markings or designs? What is is made out of? Yus, music is amazing. I'm always listening to music, almost 24/7. Even while I sleep my stereo system will be going. (Though at a low volume, can't have it waking up other people.)
  8. There is no real way to force yourself to achieve a lucid dream. Sometimes if you are relaxed to an almost zen-like state before you fall asleep you can be more likely to have one, but otherwise they're random. Many people never have one their entire lives. One way to ensure that you never have one is to be preoccupied by stress or other things while falling asleep. To dream lucid you need to not have any worries, and be completely content and at peace by the time you go to bed. I'm one of the lucky ones, and I have them frequently.
  9. Yggdrasil as in from what piece of fiction? I've read several books series with a tree by that name. I've had cheap necklaces before, usually they snap or something before wearing that much. XD So, you like to see, read, and draw. XD I also have contacts, and read a ton. Unfortunately I have no artistic talent with pencil and paper so a drawing pad or sketch book are useless to me.
  10. That's awesome! I should get a pair of dog tags myself now that I think about it. All my preparedness and no dog tags. I have failed you, whatever deity governs over being prepared. Well then. That's actually a completely believable and understandable decision. At that point I would just stay home and do pony stuff all day. Then again, that's what I do already.
  11. XD Certainly a great choice! I where a scarf a ton during winter, but only winter. Do you wear them year round? Also I'm assuming you live somewhere around the UK because my american spell check dislikes your spelling colour with a u. Both great choices. Though I have to ask, just as a precaution or have you actually had need for them before? Because having a knife can be passed as a tool, but a revolver not so much. So you prefer a phone not for the fancy apps and magical purposes it can be used for, but just for the good-old fashioned use of talking to people through talk and text? How do you fade a necklace? That must be one REALLY well loved piece of jewelry my friend. so the Celtic Tree of Life, any particular reason behind that choice? Where do you go that you don't aren't exposed to the sun, don't need head protection, don't need to unlock stuff or drive anywhere, and don't need to purchase anything?! I somehow use the majority of random stuff I carry in my bag, so I keep it around. But if you truly never need it, going light would probably be the most sensible choice.
  12. Well then, that's two people with white pinstriped fedoras in a row, what are the odds? And you have amazing taste sir. A fedora, aviators, AND a brony t-shirt with no less but Pinkie Pie on it? How are the women not beating each other down to get to you?
  13. XD I used to wear a hat 24/7, but then my friends started to complain because they liked messing with my hair. Do you have an estimate to how many hats you own? Just thought I'd ask. Cool, not many people other than active military have real dog tags with personal info. I wonder why. Thumb drives ARE incredibly useful. I actually need to get a bigger one soon. Did you stick the binary in for fun or just to meet the minimum character count? Can't wait to see! I'm assuming it's a Luna shirt, just from what I've seen of you around the forums. XD Anyway, looking forward to that pic! Wow, I don't think I've seen that many words I don't know how to pronounce in a single paragraph before. A fedora you say? Classic charm like a boss. Where are the pins located? Also, Swiss army knives are amazing things, and the fact that yours has some cool meaning behind is sweet as well.
  14. Lighters are definitely useful, I also carry one around. If you're worried about self defense I suggest getting some mace and an actual knife. Scissors aren't the most effective at stabbing through clothes. (I actually always carry at least two knives, again because I'm obsessed with being prepared.) Oh yes, Aviators. XD I can never wear round sunglasses because I have a thin head, but Aviators manage to look cool on everypony else. Depending on how busy I am I read 2 to 3 good size novels a week, I also love scifi and fantasy! Drawing in chalk on the walls, sounds like something I'd do if my walls weren't covered with posters and shelving already. (Actually the posters are layered now because I ran out of room.) Why would I make fun of you for that? Phones are incredibly useful, and I'd die without my smartphone and it's access to my music and the internet. I know how you feel, I obsessively check the time whenever I'm not actively doing something. Wouldn't you get blurred vision if you are wearing a stronger magnification than you need? Yes, glasses and contacts are very important. XD Where'd you manage to find a watch that stores a flash drive? I'd like to get my hands on one of those. Music is life, is it not? And our generation has made the need for communication run in our veins. But you don't carry anything else out of the complete usual? Like to travel light?
  15. What does being 13 have to do with it? Mum? You're from the UK? Cool. You're a millionaire? That's interesting. What disgusts you about what they do?
  16. Both of those are great choices, and yes phones do count. As far as your notebook, do you mostly draw or mostly write, or just a complete mix of the two? You enjoy reading too? I love reading almost as much as I love Ponies. What genres do you like to read? Also, where do you write if you don't carry paper? Your arm?
  17. I'm actually a Christian, so I understand the purity ring completely. I don't have one myself, but I follow the same guidelines. Aventours? Sorry, I'm not familiar with that brand name. (I'm assuming it's a brand name.) Do you think you could educate me a bit? XD I agree, pocketwatches are awesome, but I prefer watches myself because I don't have to fish around in a pocket to find out the time. pocketwatches are definitely more stylish though. A pony after my own heart, I myself own a pair of Ultrasone DJ-1 Pros, and have a pair of Skullcandy Aviators as my backup pair. Because you can never have enough wubs.
  18. Well, at least you can access the internet. Also, kudos to you for being brave enough to stay and believe you can fix the problems, whereas most people would just help themselves and leave. I wouldn't go so far as to raise a rebellion or start a riot, but you could try peaceful negotiation. Also, depending on how old you are you might not able to do much at the moment.
  19. XD I guess glasses ARE an accessory. I don't usually think of them as one, but that's because I used to wear them all the time, so I considered them normal clothing. Lots of people do stuff like that, don't feel ashamed. XD Speaking of that I guess I carry around one 24/7 also. I carry a deck of cards in my bag.
  20. I've been lucky enough to meet tons of Bronies all the time. Every time I wear a Brony shirt in public random people brohoof me like every five minutes. I love this fandom so much.
  21. Well that's sad, you should visit a con sometime, you'll find TONS of the nice Bronies there. Don't be discouraged by the fakers or haters out there in the meantime.
  22. I was wondering what everypony's favourite accessories were. Like, the one thing you wear/take everywhere and never leave home/dwelling/domicile without. It could be anything; A hoodie, a backpack, a tool, a pen, a skateboard, etc. My favourite accessory is actually a tied between my string backpack and my trusty knife. I never leave home without either. I carry everything I or somebody else could ever need or want, from aux cables to duck tape, from survival supplies to sunglasses. I'm addicted to being prepared for anything at any moment, and I always am. Anyway, now it's your turn! What are you waiting for? Post away! EDIT: Wow, I did not expect this thread to become this popular. So far I've responded to every post, but as it picks up I may miss a couple, sorry for that in advance. Thanks to everybody who has and will post here!
  23. Jeans (Black, grey, or dark blue. Never blue jeans.), pair of sneakers, a t-shirt (Short or long sleeved depending on temperature.), And a light hoodie (Pullover or zipped.) I switch accessories around, but I never go anywhere without my hoodies. I also carry around a string backback 24/7. That thing is my ultimate accessory. It's small, light, and durable, waterproof (Well, the material is, but you can get water through the top opening.), fireproof, and holds everything I could possibly want or need. I'm the friend that whenever somebody needs something random, they immediately assume I have it. (And I usually do.) I go for casual yet functional. You can have function in outfits and still look good. Besides, dressing nice makes you feel better and be more self confident.
  24. It's all because of peer pressure, these teens you speak of feel that they need to dress and act certain ways to be accepted. That's what is so cool about us Bronies, we don't need the approval of the cliques and the popular people to feel accepted and have self confidence.
  25. I game for skill AND fun. I develop skill to beat my opponents, which is fun. If I lose then I work harder, and refuse to lose again.
