  1. @@ActFast231 "Okay! Preening..." Hope I remember how to do this. After rubbing her hooves together, Button moved her muzzle to one of Max's wings. The feathers were a mess, but after a moment of getting comfortable, the unicorn was expertly preening his wings, careful not to bump her horn against them as she moved. That was for his sake more than anything, the point of the horn still able to poke rather uncomfortably.
  2. @@ActFast231 Button smiled as she got back up, taking the key with magic. "I-it's okay. You didn't mean to, after all." She was completely unaware he had done it on purpose, opening the door and letting him in before following. The room was simple, yet pretty and elegant. It had a fluffy bed, a nice bathroom, and even a kitchenette. A table and chairs at the window had been converted into a working space for the unicorn. "Make yourself comfortable, Max." At ease once more, Button moved to put her saddlebag near the table, lifting it off.
  3. @@ActFast231 Button had been magically digging through her bag to find her room key when Max decided to try his 'experiment'; when that wingtip brushed over her horn, the key clattered to the ground, a sound very much like a 'meep' escaping. Button sat back on her flanks as she raised her hooves to her horn, her face dark blue as she blushed.
  4. @@ActFast231 "The inn." There were many places to stay, and Button had amazingly found one within her budget. "I mean, my room. At the inn. That's private, and that way, if I screw up, you'll be the only pony to see it." She blushed and smiled, using magic to ease her hair out of eyes yet again. As the locks brushed her horn, she fought a shiver; her horn was sensitive, and though she had gotten used to the feeling of hair framing it, it still sometimes got to her.
  5. @@ActFast231 Button blinked, then blushed some. "Could we, perhaps, do it somewhere a bit more private...?" Ponies were gathering in the park with their fillies, some giving them strange looks. Before Max could respond, Buttonstitch used magic to bring him to his feet, giving a nervous smile to the other ponies as she trotted away.
  6. @@ActFast231 Button smiled and blushed. "I can preen... A little." She chuckled some. "My mom's a pegasus, dad's a unicorn. I'd always see her preening and ask about it, so a bit after I reformed and got my Cutie Mark, she finally showed me how it was done." She tilted her head as her ears twitched. "I haven't done it in a while, but I think it's one of those things that you never forget how to do once you learn it."
  7. @@ActFast231 With a tiny 'meep', Button jumped back. "S-sorry! I didn't..." She sighed, lowering herself a bit. "Seems all I do is screw up, huh?" She flashed Max a sad smile, bangs falling in front of one of her green eyes as she spoke, She felt bad that she did such a thing to him; nopony could like being brought to the ground like that, right?
  8. @@ActFast231 The unicorn chuckled. "Hey, it's okay. I just didn't want anypony to think I was hurting you." She paused, getting closer still. "If my hoof felt that nice..." She got close to his wing, giving it the smallest nuzzle. Hey, if she'd learned anything in life, it was that where a hoof felt nice, a nuzzle felt better.
  9. @@ActFast231 "Oh!" Buttonstich blinked, drawing her hoof back. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you weak-kneed or something." Her smile went apologetic as she lowered her hoof to the ground, blowing part of her bangs from her eyes. "Never thought my own hooves could do something like that."
  10. @@ActFast231 Button nodded, taking the water back. "That's really neat. I didn't know Pegasi could do that with their wings." She ran her hoof along it gently, the unicorn genuinely intrigued. "Or is it just you? Either way, that's nifty." She nodded, smiling at him brightly.
  11. @@ActFast231 Realizing how close she was, her blue cheeks darkened a bit, even as she continued to help get the dirt off him. "No problem, Max." Her voice went a bit softer, the unicorn pulling a bottle of water from her saddlebag with magic. "Here." He needed it more than she did, after all.
  12. @@ActFast231 Button giggled some herself, walking over and crouching next to him, gently wiping the dirt out of his hair and coat. "You all right, Max?" She smiled, helping him up and as a result, getting closer to him than she'd ever been. She smoothed out his mane as she waited for his response.
  13. @@ActFast231 I could. In fact, I did. She thought it, but didn't say it as she moved to the slide, climbing up the steps. She was almost too big for it, the platform too small for all four hooves to stand on. With a small cry, she fell forward, sliding down the slid on her stomach and landing in the dirt.
  14. @@ActFast231 Button looked around. "Well, I usually sit and work, but I'll be the first to admit it gets boring to watch." She smiled sheepishly. She trotted over to the playground and sighed wistfully. "If only I wasn't such a troublemaker as a filly... I could have enjoyed all these things more." She was a bit ashamed of her past.
  15. @@ActFast231 A giggle escaped the unicorn as he reacted to the coffee, happily trotting along behind him as her braid waved at her side. It was a perfect day to go to the park, the sky clear and bright. A happy sigh escaped Button as they approached the park, tail flicking back and forth as she moved.
  16. @@ActFast231 Button's eyes lit up some. "I love to go to the park. One of my favorite places!" She smiled, finishing her breakfast and standing up, shaking out her fluffy tail. "Let's go." She carried her toy via magic, still stitching buttons on. She was good at focusing; her magic wasn't powerful, but it was precise, and allowed her to do various things at once.
  17. @@ActFast231 Button laughed. "I try to avoid the word 'plan' as much as possible. Meaning, no." She smiled. "I haven't been here long, either. If you have something in mind, I'd love to tag along." She smiled once more, eager and happy to spend more time with the colt. She was really starting to like him.
  18. @@ActFast231 Buttonstitch frowned, then reached over, lifting his chin gently with her hoof and speaking softly. "I told you before, it's fine. You didn't mean to get drunk." She smiled warmly. "I'm just glad I was able to help you then, even a little bit... She lowered her hoof slowly, resting it on the table.
  19. @@ActFast231 "Oh, this?" Button smiled, using magic to hold up the near-completed toy. "This is what I do for a living. I make toys out of buttons." She chuckled some, sipping her cocoa again. "As for my shyness, well... I'm fine making friends, usually, but it was an unfamiliar setting. I'd never been to a club before then, either."
  20. @@ActFast231 Button chuckled, just smiling that easy smile of hers. "I told you, it's fine. You seem just as nice now as you were then, so I'm not offended." She nodded, working on her toy off to the side, even though her eyes were focused on Max. "Besides, had you not been drunk, I... probably would have shied away a bit more." Button blushed, looking down some.
  21. If you need a filly drawn, I can give it a try! I have not drawn one before, but I can't get better unless I try, right? So if you still need one, I'll help.
  22. @@ActFast231 At the sound of someone sitting before her, Button blinked, then smiled, nodding. "That's right. It's good to see you again, Max." She took a sip of her hot cocoa before speaking again. "Are you feeling better? I understand you didn't mean to get drunk last night." Her smile turned apologetic as she nibbled at her pastry.
  23. As Buttonstitch woke up the next morning, she stretched and sighed, thinking about the night before. Her night talking to Max probably didn't fit most ponies' definition of 'fun', but she did have fun. If she was lucky, maybe she would bump into him once more. Craving sweet, she found herself sitting outside Sugarcube Corner with a hot cocoa and a chocolate croissant, deep blue magic used to both eat and work on making a toy turtle out of buttons.

Ah! Please, wait! I have your name wrong on it like an idiot. /facepalm Please, allow me a few minutes till I can fix it. I need to remake the whole thing since I forgot to save as a .pdf. Okay, NOW it's correct. Many apologies for my idiocy, but hopefully you can forgive me. I think this one looks better, anyway, lol.
  25. THIS. So much. If people can't accept me as I am, they can buck off. The fact is, 'normal' is a matter of personal opinion. No set in stone definition.
