To be honest i was upset when i learned a concept of school for these 2 episodes... as for the season really... But suprisingly These 2 episodes were blast! I never expect them to be that good! Loved all new characters, neighsay was a real thing, i'm looking forward to see how can he to pull the strings between the wheels of friendship school. New students were generally good with divers personalities. Some have familiar treats from the mane six, but still they mix so well creating unique characters.

I was upset before, but now i'm looking forward more than ever for new episodes.

I can't remind any class that i hated... but there were some that i didn't understand due to stupidity of a teachers.

First time i was unlucky when got my chemistry teacher treating us as a !@#$, showing off and not daring to explain a thing. We even had a little war with this one, framing each other (lol, she really framed me one time) to force our school to fire her (Was a small school, couldn't just ask for another teacher =( ) Chemistry is a hell for me ever since.

My second, REALLY unlucky time, was with the proffessor of banking & management. His voice could lul better then anything, i mean ANYTHING, he was leaterally lul everyone in the class. Needless to say that he never talked about a subject. From his lessons. now i know: 1) that his uncle could multiply three-digit numbers in mind. 2) that ak47 actually was developed somewhere between first and second world war. 3) that fish in one of nearby river can get to 60 inches. 4) How to navigate tank.

I was looking for a pic for a fanfiction. I was looking everywhere on a web for starswirl the bearded images, as if he was young, but best i could find was this[ 

It's close, but's too far from real =) would like to image of starswirl the bearded in the time of his youth, when, basicly, he had no beard. It would be best if he will perform some basic magic on a picture, like flashlights, levitation, e.t.c, something. I need something about 20% cooler than that. Can you do that?

Ha! First rule of fanfiction: Never read your stories too many times.

At least, that's the rule I've come up with. If I read my stories that I wrote too many times, they start to sound awful no matter how good they started out looking. An author once said, "Never go back to read the story you wrote. You'll think it's awful." I used to answer, "Then how will I edit it?"

 

Anyways, you could write about how Spitfire crashes onto Applejack's farm. Unfortunately for Spitfire, Applejack hates because (Yadda yadda backstory backstory) and refuses to help her. Applejack warns others not to help her but Fluttershy starts to secretly help her on the side. She gets caught (Yadda yadda) happy ending.

 

I'd never write something this emotional.

As for an author i will suggest to not write anything until you come up with what break points of your story - how it starts, how it ends, and pick of the "conflict"

Hey there again good sir. As i already said, i can't help you with decent proof-reading, but had a look at this chapter anyway.

I liked the idea. Not of the story, of course, that one i already liked even before reading the story. I liked idea of the chapter, basicly, what this chapter all about.

I liked how you turned to show history of ponyvile.

You're writing about alternative universe of equestria (or at least it's very future version), but not... THAT alternative universe. Forget the words "human", "people", "person", "hands" "fingers" e.t.c.

Ending very abrupt. I was looking for at least some action in the chapter as first, but as second i was looking that you at least will turn back to Aspen Swift, sitting and sipping his cup of coffee, working, whatever he did while he was remembering him being in school.

I personaly think that story 400 years past must be prologue to the story.

Usually it is good to give a hint of what surround ponies, but, i think, sometimes it barely positive thing. Cerantly not always, but sometimes. I've liked how our hero waked up, and you explained his cutie mark. How you told about orchard and its history. I did even enjoyed how he sipped cup of coffee. I don't get why i need to know how much bedrooms he have, how much things his predecessor has left to him. I already know that he's kinda owner of this orchard, and it is obviously that this orchard is huge and mmm exotic. I liked that he smelled differently. I don't like not understanding why exactly this morning he smelled exactly these things. If they... smells are different day to day, right? 

There were many cases where you can, and it will rather better to show and not to tell. I can't help with each of them though, you really need to get proof-reader who can help you polish these.

The thing about rare mount drops is that it's not random, but the game uses a random number generator for the mounts. I've only done ICC 25HC once, same with Tempest Keep, also, don't forget you may have gotten lucky, I've heard of people who've tried getting Invincible every week since Cata, and still have gotten nada.

Don't forget about rumors - take a female gnome, who never was in that dangeon before on your 7th run, equip fishing pool while killing a boss and dont forget roll a dice in a chat until it will roll 1 - and you will certantly have your mount this run ^^

So has anybody managed to get any of those rare mount drops? I.E. Invincible, Ashes of Al 'ar?

I did =) It's not that rare as it sounds.

Was pretty crazy about this game, as a huge gamer i am. It took me about 20 runs for both al'ar and invincible, and about 50 runs to i.e. Let me say you what? It took me more then 1800 run to put rivender to missary and share his mount :/

Okay, you are going Alternate Universe where Sombra ruled the Crystal Empire & didn't get turned into a shadow.  From the time frame of "When did this happen"?  About the time of Discord or Nightmare Moon?  Perhaps he took over because he saw the civilian government as being too weak to handle the crisis.  It is a common motive in the real world.

 

Look at how & why dictators seize power.  Napoleon, Ceasar, they had their reasons.  Maybe not good reasons but many wanted more than personal power.

 

For editors, maybe somebody here could help or try over at Fimfiction, they publish a LOT of pony stuff.  There might be some groups that could help you.

I looked over fimfiction and tried to find anypony there. Actually i found some. About 20 or so for all times of my searchings. My best guess is that size and grammar of my fics are nothing they want to handle =)

To be honest i'm not that good with histrory... Didn't napoleon and ceasar whanted they nations to prevail among others? To just make them better, by suppressing others and spreading their influence? That does not make them bad rulers, they were great mans. Great mans who made some choices.

About the time frame - is a bit spoilery but - it has happend when celestia and luna defeated discord. Sombra was one of the ponies who helped them, but then cheated on them to make them abandon ponykind, and flew away, why he became a hero and liberator. Who, of course, got all respect and authority on equestria.

Okay, okay, sorry for oftop but since you asked for some advices about your fiction... i figure that i can ask some advices about mine ^^

To be honest i havn't writed in a month now - it's too damn hard to find any proof-reader who willingly help you with a story, if english is not your first language. I have begining of the story on a paper, and i have pretty much all story in my mind. If i ever find strenght inside me (and proof-reader outside to help) and continue this fiction it's going to be pretty large. I have almost everything i want to happend in a fiction in my mind, and there should be no problem but time to write everything and get a few new details as khm... sorta improvisation =)

Almost everything... There was one thing, that no matter how i tried to figure it out it sounded dumb. Main antogonist of this story is Sombra, and he basicly dictated Equestria for a thousand years. Ponies fear him, but they call him their leader. Structure is similar to this - we have an elite, who got privileges, and everypony else, who is well... working class. They have to work hard for surviving. But they somewhat happy - they lived like that for a long time and never thought that another way of leaving is possible. Yeah, so setting is kinda that dark =) The problem is, that i see no certain point for sombra to rule Equestria. Is like ruling for nothing. I made a shaky point that he's stifling ponies with taxes, and got lots of bits, but it sounds soo... pointless? I tried to think that maybe he want (who made a guess?) - crystals? But again, what for he need it? He makes his moves when get knowing that somepony really threaten to his authority, but why he is actually ruling these ponies...

So if someone will give me a good hint of what Sombra actually want, maybe something destractive to other ponies, that he somehow didn't got yet, maybe something else, i will be really greatful =)

You can't decide what to write about? You can't decide about genre? Plot? Characters? But you've already written to 15th chapter? So how it is possible to not decide something from these points to well... at least third of the story?

You want other to help you with your current story? I can say that it is great. Honestly, every story that writen by heart is good one way or another EVEN if i can't see some of these stories.

What users like to read? But, celestia, everypony has their own taste. I personally don't understand gore and shippings, but do enjoy dark and adventure fics.

How is it possible to say to writer what to write? Only if you are not looking for an idea for fiction? If so,.. we have plenty of thous =)

Draw the perpendicular bisector from B to AC (like you did) and label it d. Use the relation sin(22.514) = d / 79

I actually didn't calculate anything. I just drew the figure as a sketch in Solidworks.

 

The software knows the dimensions of the given geometry with the input I gave in the first picture. I modeled the shape, and then asked the software to tell me the unknowns. This is like the digital equivalent of physically drawing the figure and then using a ruler + protractor to measure the unknown angles and lengths.

Oh, but that is too boring =)
