  1. I also noticed that the days until the next season feel much quicker when you don't follow all the updates.

The last time I checked the release date and such was around a month ago.. That month went by like nothing.

Then again, I played loads of Pokémon Y.

(These last few days are unbearable though).

  2. What the topic title says; Are any of you going to watch season 4 without having seen or read any spoilers about the episodes and such?

Because during the waiting for season 3 I watched every single pony thing there was to find and I noticed this ruined quite a few enjoyable surprises for me..   For example; The horrid pinkie pie face and the return of Discord.

I've resisted all the links and news youtube and EQD gave me for season 4. unsure.png

But I was wondering who else has resisted these tempting offers of ponies and plans on doing so until the season ends.

  3. Survival in a zombie apocalypse, matters more than anything your right.

People are different and Hershel has shown his true colors long ago in how he feels about the matter.

After watching for so long.. Survival is important to him but what ranks even higher is the safety of those close to him.. Mental or physical damage.

He believes shooting out the brains of someone he perhaps talked to yesterday in front of kids is a bad thing to do.. Walker or not and this belief stands higher then his personal need for survival. (Unless if he doesn't have any choice.. of course).

  4. and it was seen once again in the latest episode.

I wouldn't really call that a save.. More like lending out a hand towards him.

Rick knocked the walker over and just could've walked back but Carl already shot him before he had the chance.

But that said Carl is pretty cool now, but Hershel still wins the contest!

  5. I just finished the first season of Hajime no Ippo. (76 episodes)

..and it was surprisingly fun to watch, I'm often not that keen on sport animes.

    Off to the next one!

  6. I know what you are feeling.

I would love to play with you but of all the games you listed I only play LoL.. Which I haven't played for ages since.. well..

I'm currently in the MMO mood.. Guild Wars 2 to be more specific.

  7. I'm currently following a few animes of the current season;

Golden Time, Non Non Biyori, Nagi No Asukara and Log Horizon.

I wanna talk about Log Horizon since it is another take on the "getting stuck in a game" anime.

While hack and Sword Art Online both did a great part on the drama between characters, It didn't really feel like they were inside a game for me.. More like a fantasy world.

Log Horizon however has the visuals and "playstyle" as a real MMO with cooldowns and specific roles such as Damage, healing and tanking.

It feels a lot more relatable for gamers since it actually feels like they are in a game with mechanics they know off.

The drama also isn't as heavy compared to Hack and SAO.. Is this a bad thing? I don't think so, I think they can throw in a little more physiological stuff.. In order to balance out the action and comedy.

I must also mention that you can follow the track of time.. Since in SAO they would suddenly skip tremendous amount of time and in hack you could never really tell. This both had their appeals and plot reasons..

But I like to be with the characters most of the time.

That said, I'm really enjoying Log Horizon so far.. What about you guys?

  8. Welcome, welcome..

Wait.. Robots should be annihilated right?

I heard they are a bad influence and infiltrate our ranks.

  9. Not much, I watched a few videos of him playing games and it didn't grasp me.

    But apparently others do.

The only "complaint" is that he shows up a lot in the recommended section.. but.. considering a lot of us who get recommended usual like video games it isn't much of a surpise..

Plus you don't have to click the video. mellow.png

  10. A rather delicate matter.

It all comes to down on how people are different, one parent might be over-protective and might not allow videogames to be even in the house because they believe it will have a bad impact on them.

While other parents like the ones you were talking about don't care at all, they probably believe video-games aren't harmfull towards children at all.

That said; It also depends on the child, one might get scared but the other will forget about it the next day.

But I personally think that quite the amount of game ratings are quite inaccurate.. More then enough "youngsters" are playing 18 rated games without gaining any trauma's or anything.

As long as a parent keeps an eye out how their kid responds towards the game.. It should be fine, IF they would become more violent or starting to use more swear words the parents need to tutor them that this is bad.

If their child just enjoys the game and doesn't take any of its negative vibes into reality.. There probably is no harm.

  11. I had many great experiences with movies and their music.

But one has been burned into my mind for many years..

This theme has a tremendous build-up and a blasting finishing where you just can't help to get goosegumbs the first time or even the few second times you hear it.

Because when the Rohan theme plays.. I feel so much joy which I cannot really explain in words.

  12. I'm in the "MMO-MOOD" again..

As a result I'm trying to get into Guild Wars 2, I know the game is great but I can't really get into it because I don't really have people to play together with.

That said; I don't suppose anyone around here knows of any good guilds?
