  1. How "late" you start liking something is irrelevant to me. What's important is that you found something you enjoy. I envy newcomers for being able to experience the show for the first time!
  2. likewise, will be good to have you back on the fields of justice!
  3. Steve Irwin. I still remember being at primary school and the teacher telling the whole class, he was a national icon so it was pretty shocking to everyone.
  4. As with anything, in the end it just comes down to experience. Best way to learn the game is play a lot of pvp matches (DON'T play against the AI, you will develop bad habbits), find out how all the champions work and get comfortable playing one or two "main" champions. That's not to say the online resources aren't helpful. Its very useful to look online and find out what popular builds are for different champions, play styles and counters. Edit: oh i forgot, you are also welcome to add me in game if you need any help name is firetorn on league
  5. I think it's the fact that after so many years, Frozen showed that Disney is still capable of producing story, animation and music at the same level as back in the 2D animated days. Don't get me wrong, there have been LOTS of amazing Disney movies since then, but frozen was really like a refreshing modernized throwback to the original princess tales. Tangled was close, but Frozen wins in the music category and was better at pulling heartstrings (IMO). Having all that said frozen is still only my second favourite Disney movie, as The Incredibles is too amazing. Cant wait for number 2!
  6. Fluttershy - medic Rainbow Dash - Soldier Twilight Sparkle - Mage Applejack - Soldier Rarity - nurse Pinkie Pie - Scout/Messenger
  7. I mostly use ultra balls also, but i do compete in bug catching contests a lot so i guess park balls are up there too.
  8. General Iroh from Avatar : The Last Airbender!
  9. -finishing my last exam for the semester -winning a sanctioned game of Magic:The Gathering -getting a pentakill in league of legends -when i beat pokemon silver for the first time -getting a valuable card in a pack of magic cards -in lord of the rings when the riders of rohan arrive -in a canterlot wedding when the changelings are defeated
  10. That's awesome. The only notable person (I've recognised) who I've been matched up with is Pendragon way back in the day (and I beat him in lane).
  11. I also would choose my own life in such a situation. I find it funny how many people dodged the question by saying they would find another way out of the situation, even though they knew what you really meant. If they were really sure of their honour they would just answer that they would rather die.
  12. Once you get a penta, they seem to become a lot more frequent (for me at least) then again i main ADC. Heres a montage containing some (three?) of the pentas i've gotten: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7S5PXNu24fg
  13. we all know what's in the box: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JgD0-kdRS28
  14. finally got around to playing some ranked yesterday and hotstreaked it from 40lp silver 1 to gold 5 also @Purple i know a lot of people have already shown interest in the ranked team but id be down, we can always have subs so even when not everyone is around we can play 5s. I main ADC but i also play mid and top very well. I think i already have you ingame.
  15. feelng something foreign in my mouthful of tea, spitting it back int he cup and realizing it was a 2 inch Australian roach
  16. Selesnya is mostly played as an aggressive midrange deck in competitive standard these days. as such some cards dont fit too well are: -Nylea -Kalonian Hydra -karametra -nykthos -elvish mystic some cards you should look into: -boon satyr -soldier of the pantheon (very important in this deck) -ajani, caller of the pride -scavenging ooze -brimaz -precinct captain -archangel of thune and some good ones for your sideboard are: -rootborn defenses -skylasher -banisher priest -mistcutter hydra -sundering growth everything else looks good but i might put unflinching courage on the sideboard. if you want to see what other people are running, check out this thread on mtgsalvation, you should find it quite useful. http://www.mtgsalvation.com/forums/the-game/standard-type-2/competitive/established-standard/507435-gw-aggro-midrange
  17. I'd be happy to run you through some stuff over skype. (pm for my skype if you want) The best way to get into it is find some people who would be interesting in starting too, then just play a lot and discover the rules as they arise. If you want to play more competetively, you should decide which format you want to play (standard, modern, legacy, EDH) as each format has different legal cards. Also, i suggest finding the colour(s) that interest you most, and focus on refining one deck idea.
  18. i know that feel, all i wanted were U/W scrys but not a single person pulled even one at my pre.
  19. That's awesome! Mogis is probably my favourite out of the new gods. Xenagos may have a more potent effect but i just love the choice associate with Mogis. i guess i forgot to say i had a bye as well so technically i went 1-4
  20. did anyone go to the born of the gods prerelease last week? if so any exciting pulls? i went but had really unlucky pulls, ended up 0-5 but it was still fun. only notable cards were a phenax and a temple of silence both of which i traded for fiendslayer paladins for my sideboard.
