    King Sombra is an archetypical "dark lord", an antagonist of many stories, especially in high fantasy. He has been designed with Sauron from Tolkien's legendarium (like Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit) in mind.

    Star Wars Best movies ever, I love all six of them (The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith, A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi) and am excited about coming sequels and spin-offs. My favourite ist ROTJ. Lord of the Rings Just epic, what Star Wars is for science fiction, LOTR is in fantasy.

    I have the issue #1 collection box (all six cover variants) and #2, but I haven't read the story yet (just looked into the books). The drawing style differs a lot from the show, it's kinda less stylized and more naturalistic (relative, compared to the show, now real life). Issue #1 and #2 are called "The Return of Queen Chrysalis I and II", #3 will start a new Twilight Sparkle mini-series. Hm... don't sure, but when buying them in the comic shop, somehow I had the feeling that people laughed about me... ^^

    The pilot episodes of TV shows are often some of the best. This was the beginning of the legend. The first episodes of the show and the first ones I watched, I really like them both, especially Nightmare Moon and the darkness/night she caused, also the end fight Main 6 vs. Nightmare Moon was just epic.

    How long is the entire time span the pony history covers at all? I guess Equestria (the country) is about 4000 years old. Maybe a future episode tells about the beginnings of the pony world.

    The Great Pony War of the Future will begin now! Just, kiddin'. We'll see, I guess the fandom will continue to exist as it does now, because Hasbro has confirmed Season Four, a television movie and the spin-off. Or, what about now... 65 episodes mare-a-thon!

    Twilight Sparkle is best pony. Pinkie Pie is funny, Rainbow Dash 20% cooler, Spitfire is best secondary character, like Applebloom, Scootaloo and Princess Luna. Derpy and Lyra are best background ponies.

    Hi, Twilight Sparkle as Alicorn Princess of Equestria rules! This was the best episode ever, the first one that causes me to cry. I loved all the songs, best parts were Twily with Celestia in space and the coronation. greetings, Tahirih
