Feared? Us? Nah, we're not feared... yet. But then one of us becomes Director of the FBI, then CIA, then Dept. of Homeland Security, a few enlisted bronies here and there rise to the rank of general officer in their respective uniformed services...
Perhaps I've said too much...
Sorry, serious now. I don't think we're feared, at least in the conventional sense. We're just an Internet oddity, grown folk who like a show that's ostensibly for little girls, which, like anything else that's odd and peculiar in this world, will get us poked and prodded. Some hate it, some like it, most don't care for it, none fear it, I'd think.
I will say that we're probably hitting some nerves and spooking some out there by defying traditional gender roles and such (for the guys, anyway), being into something so "girly," which I think is great, personally! It's a new day and age where anyone can like anything they please and no one (sensible) gives a damn, so long as it doesn't hurt anyone. And I think that whole "busting down barriers of masculinity and femininity" was kind of what Lauren Faust was aiming for, right? If her deviantart is anything to go by.
Whoa, went on a tangent there, sorry. But yeah. We're no more feared than, say, Trekkies.
...
I'm not planning a brony coup of the United States. Stop looking at me like that.
