    What do you need the touch functions for? Don't you draw with the pen? What kind of tablet do you have? Sometimes the touch functions don't work on Sai or have to be restarted. Did you try that?

    You're welcome~! Ah, I see~. Okay then, they'll look better when you get used to the tablet, then~. Never used Art Rage, so I can't give any advice for that program. You're using a touch tablet? What about the pen for the tablet? Sai should work with tablets... My bad~. He looked brown from my IPad screen but I can see the red now. And his color scheme isn't bad. What score are you talking about? Someone scored your OC? On what?

    These are pretty good for your first try at ponies digitally~! I like the expression on the dark brown pony you did for Bearsie~! To give you a little critique, their bodies are kinda too long and their legs are short. Try shortening their bodies and making their legs a little longer~! On your side views, their snouts shouldn't be out so far, so their face could be a little flatter (that last part probably doesn't make too much sense ^^; ). Of course, this is all if you're going for the show's style. If it's your own style, then I don't know what you're going for so I can't really say how close or not you are. But it's good so far, for the show's style anyway! Just a bit more practice will help! And you might want to consider cropping your drawings so there's not so much empty space. And do you know about selecting and rotating in Sai? To tilt Bab's head up you could have just rotated it up and then fixed the neck a little.

    Alrighty~! Finished your's! I'm doing them in order of difficulty instead of the order you guys asked, so Megamare's was first! There's your's~! While I was working on the trades I also did a quick anthro of Lunar Fields. And here's a Soarin sketch from my sketchbook I took with my phone. Descant's piece is next, then Ponies123's piece.

    I was under the impression that Rainbow was one of, if not the, most popular ponies in the show. Every time I see someone saying who their favorite pony is from the Mane 6, generally, the answer is Rainbow Dash. I never got that she was hated at all, though her confidence that borderlines arrogance sometimes could probably be the reason why she's hated if she is. From what I see, Rarity and Apple Jack are the most hated/least popular of the Mane 6, though I have no idea why. Shipping-wise, Rainbow seems to be apart of the most popular ships like Flutterdash, so I imagine if people are shipping her they like her.

    I'd kinda like some of the stallions to get more love really~. So more Braeburn, Soarin, and Caramel! I'd say Big Mac too but I think he's kinda well-recognized already.

    Gotcha~. I see it now! Thank you~! I like it! You forgot his bracelets, cutie mark, and freckles, though. His neck disappeared for some reason too. It's nice otherwise~! Sure~! (Lunar Fields is male, btw) I'm okay with the challenge of designing him/her for you~! I need you to tell me more about him/her for me to design him/her right though. I'm thinking he/she would be wearing Megaman gear, but besides that I'd need to know things like gender, species (earth, pegasus, alicorn), cutie mark/personality (personality if you want me to make up a cutie mark), talent, and anything else you'd think I needed to know. Any background you want? If you want I could draw them both in the same picture? Okay~. I've never tried Inkscape. Or heard of it, actually. What do you like about it? Alright~. Can't wait to see it~!

    I don't use GIMP myself; I use Paint Tool Sai but I've heard GIMP was an awesome substitute when you couldn't afford Photoshop. And I'm actually not the best at backgrounds (particularly perspective) but the best way to learn is try and practice~. Maybe try simple ones and using references would help. I've heard of people waiting like 3 years for parts of their art trade. It sounds drastic but there seems to be people that'd do things like that. Of course I'm not saying you would! Very sorry if it sounds like I seriously thought you might take that long! I'm sure you're fine on time! Okay, wooden flute, nature inspiration, and hat-or-no-hat! Got it~! Does he play with his hooves on or uses his magic to hold the flute? Ah, I see~. So the guards have yellow wings? I got it~! I'll post it here when I'm finished. It's awesome~! I love it! Really cool~! ^o^ His neck is a little long, but he's great besides that! Than you so much! You didn't forget anything! You got all his details. The long neck is the only problem, but you don't have to fix it if you don't want to.

    Sorry! I probably should have made a new thread. Thank you very much! I didn't know that~. Alrighty then~! The "mix-y" colors thing is a gradient, and, no, you can't do that on Paint. Why don't you try a better program? GIMP is a good free one that can do gradients. I can do that. I'll put the guards too. Do the guards have invisible wings? Is there any particular reason why you can't see them? So for the castle scene, you want it from the exact angle? Or can I change the angle a little? And I got it! No evil things! Just fire and burning, right? Thank you very much~! I'm actually trying to work away from that, but I'm probably somewhere in the middle of the transition. ^^; I don't mind if you don't get it to me right away. As long as you get it to me and don't take something outrageous like a year or something, take as much time as you want! Your vectors are really good! Better than what I can do! And you're much better with the G4 style than me. It'd be an honor to do a trade with you! I think I have an idea for him (Gosh, I love his design! ). Would he consider himself above lazing about in trees? And what kind of hat is his favorite? Can he play instruments too?

    I can do that! Should she be in some type of fire-y version of Celestia's castle? Unless you want the throne to be in her castle or just floating in space. I'm not the best at detailing fire but I'll try my best! What's HD? I'm assuming that's high definition, but I've never heard that applied to art. ^^; It's not too hard at all~!

    Thanks for the information~! I'll definitely go watch the show more so I can learn those things for myself! I didn't really notice that about the wings until I saw the Sonic Rainboom episode (that's the one I'm on). Now that I'm paying attention I see that. Thank you for the visuals though! I'll use them as a reference. And I appreciate the name suggestions! I'm just a bit too attached to his current name to change it. Thank you again! You didn't tell me if I should do something for you or not, though.

    You're welcome~! I figured I put the dolphins there since I thought they suited your backstory! And it's okay, I understand about school! And thank you for answering! I'll keep them all in this thread then. And I don't want to bother the mods with such a little thing; I'll keep the name as it is. Thank you very much~! I had no idea what a G3 pony was until after I posted this on dA, let alone knew I was drawing in that style. ^^; Is the art trade picture closer to G4 style? I'd love it very much if you'd be nice enough to do that for me~! I can do something for you too in return! As for the wing part, I don't think I understand. Is his wing folded strangely? It probably might be, since that was my first pony picture (I posted them in backwards order for some reason) and I didn't know what I was doing. How should I fix it? You're right about his personality~. He takes care of a field of those blue flowers he's watering in the second picture. The flowers are special ones that grow by moonlight, so he was named after the field he cares for. I probably shouldn't have a name that needs so much explaining, but that one stuck in my mind first. I kind of like it, but if it's not a good name... As for those names you suggested Flower Power sounds like a really bright name, for somepony who has a personality like Raindow Dash's or Apple Jack's. Lunar is closer in personality to Fluttershy so that name wouldn't suit him much. And Green Thumb doesn't fit his design, to me. I'd picture him needing a literal green thumb (or hoof in this case) for that to fit, for some reason. He's a bit too blue for that name. (I'm really sorry if those names were off the top of your head and I'm over analyzing things. I probably am. ) But thank you for the suggestions~!

    Those are really awesome~! I love the differences in line width and how emotional the ponies you did are! And that taco pony is pretty awesome~! For some reason Derpy's legs look a little stiff or awkward in the one where she's balancing the muffins, but that's just me being nit picky to try and give something constructive. I love your shading, by the way~!

He has another one on the other side of his hair. I made him before I watched the show and just threw that on him because I liked it. I still consider him a pegasus since the horns aren't a unicorn horn, but I have no idea how to explain why they're there. Thank you~! The style isn't on purpose, I'm just still learning how to draw G4 style. And his hair was from the Pony Creator. I figured since it was in there it was okay for a pony hair style. ^^;

    Sure, I can draw her for you! It's a trade though, so I'd like you to draw Lunar Fields for me. As for her hair, the front part should look like Fluttershy's does in that (scary) avatar, right? Was there anything you didn't like about the back of her hair that I should change?

    Do you mean you need help drawing her hair? Like, it's not coming out the way you want it to? I think her hair looks fine the way it is in the picture. It probably should look the same way if she was facing the other way and fall in between her eyes from the front view. What did you have in mind for her hair to look like on the other side?

    That's not on purpose actually. ^^; I'm just still trying to learn how to draw in the G4 style. For some reason that style is harder for me, which is why I wanted practice. But thank you very much for the compliment~! That's okay~! We can do it after you make your pony, if you want~! Good luck with making him/her!

    This is my favorite episode so far in Season 1. Granted I having seen any other episode outside of Season 1, so this is currently my favorite episode at all! This really made me love Apple Jack's character, both her dependability and her stubbornness. This made me love Big Macintosh too, of course. That apple pun and Apple Jack's reaction was one of my favorite parts of the episode. Apple Jack running into the branch and mishearing Twilight was my favorite part.

    Hi everypony~! I'm a 16-year-old American girl and I like being called Taini. I'm really new to MLP and the pony fandom, but there's so much of it everywhere my curiosity got the better of me. I wouldn't call myself a full-on brony yet, since I'm still in the beginning of Season 1 of the show but I might be one in the future~! I'm an artist and a writer, and I hope to draw and write for this fandom too! My username is Lunar Fields, because that's the name of my OC Pony. I made one first because I didn't know much about the canon ponies and knew more OCs than canon ponies (found the art before the show). He's a somewhat demure pegasus pony who's most precious thing is his large garden of special flowers that grow by moonlight. He spends most of his time taking care of these flowers. He gets along well with Fluttershy since he feels much the same way for his flowers as she does for her animals and greatly dislikes Rainbow Dash for teasing him because he's not very fast in the air. Since I don't know a lot about Equestria and MLP in general yet, that's all I really know about him. Now for some Pony-related things~! My favorite Mane Six pony is Apple Jack and my favorite background pony so far (zebra) is Zecora. My favorite episode so far is the one where Apple Jack tries to go apple bucking by herself and is exhausted trying to help the other ponies.
